car in the area a while back, but other than that, they don't have many clues. 03:25:37 with the car not being location- just the circumstances surrounding where the body was located is suspicious. 50 agent mike motsinger says eight weeks. two people are in custody, after police found what they thought might be a bomb in a newton home this afternoon. authorities were executing a search warrant at 820 first avenue west... when they found the device. law enforcement evacuated a one block area around the home... and brought in the state fire marshal's office. bomb technicians rendered the device themselves from the comments, saying the focus should be on radical islam. the gun control debate has been front and center in light of recent shootings. president obama is calling for stricter laws. but here in iowa, governor branstad says now is not the time to talk about it... he told reporters today that president obama should use this as a time to bring americans together like president bush wade into it. i just divides the country." planning to change any of iowa's current gun laws. there is a county in eastern iowa where they are experiencing a "gun permit backlog." but as chris minor reports, there's another reason for the longer wait time. getting a new or renewing an old permit to carry a concealed gun in scott county is now taking up to a week, instead of same day service. we're looking at a backlog now of about 150 people that are wating that have filled out their application waiting for the phone call to get their permit the reason though, is not a surge in gun carriers. but 4-thousand five year weapons permits from 2011 are up for renewal now....slamming the system and those who do the background checks. the problem now is its renewal time so theres a backlog while people get their permits renewal..no right now about 6 thousand people in carry concealed guns, like steve davidson of davenport, who says he is prepared for anything. gun carrier on why des moines. under the plan, anyone age 16-to-20 would be able to stay in certain establishments until 11-30 during live music performances. venues have to put on at least 100 shows a year to
