pleasant hill to design and build that next project. city leaders say it'll help spur economic development along the city council also approved a pilot project that will allow minors into some bars in des moines. under the plan, anyone age 16-to-20 would be able to stay in certain establishments until 11-30 during live music performances. venues have to put on at least 100 shows a year to qualify... right now - three venues could meet that requirement... vaudeville mews, gas lamp, and lefty's. the businesses would also have to apply for a permit to allow minors to stay until 11:30. there are some new detours in downtown des moines, and we're not talking about the roads. the skywalk section stretching from the convention center is now closed until the spring of 20-18. it's
