it looks like a light wintry mix will be possible throughout monday, then turn to rain by mid to late afternoon. more on that in a second!expect roads to dry out in time of the overnight, with lows dropping to 28 for the upstate and 20 in the mountains. snow will continue along the tennessee border.the weekend will be cold with highs in the 40s on saturday and 30s for valentine's day sunday. the cold air will be in place as our storm system approaches monday morning. some light snow will develop monday morning, then quickly turn to amounts look very light at this point, with around an inch of snow, then about a tenth of an inch of sleet or freezing rain. this could cause problems on roads, especially bridges and overpasses between 6am and 2pm. temperatures will slowly rise above freezing through the afternoon, leading to spotty light rain toward 6pm. heavy rain will arrive toward 10pm. we could see 1-2 inches of rain monday night before it clears out tuesday morning. roads will be
