creek road- along with suber road at sweet briar.now some of these are near the enoree river which topped it's banks- which led to the roads being closed- 3 in greenwood county-check it out-you can see the high water some type 3 of electricity station- 3 in anderson and greenville counties...we also saw roads closed due to high water- and through the night officials will be keeping their eyes on local rivers and creeks including the saluda river- 3 fox carolina's ashley daley has been out in the rain all day--- 3 giving us a first hand look- she's live in greenville county along kenmore drive in piedmont- 3 cody...residents say this area usually floods when they get a hard rain.... but nothing like this. just look at how high the water is... and how fast it's moving... 3 and check this 3 out... this is that same body of water just one block over on camden drive. officials have closed this road...due to how deep and how quickly the water is moving. residents who live near the water say it's so far never come as high as the house... so right now -- and waiting to see what this afternoon's rain brings. 3 3 3 3 its crazy like i just be seeing all kinds of stuff rushing through here. you might see a sofa rush through the creek. 3 this was another creek that turned into a rushing river... this is mill pond road in easley. water just missing the bridge by a foot. and on standing springs road...scdot crews and the south greenville fire department both on scene to get that road shut down after water continued to rise. and in downtown greenville -- parts of the swamp rabbit trail under water...the creek that runs along the trail there near cleveland park and the zoo... it too rushing.... but of course -- nothing rushing faster than the reedy falls at falls park. heavy rains have sent the falls 3 and cody -- greenville county emergency management says they'll be continuing to monitor all areas...as we get 3 more rain.cody back to you. 3 alright ashley---try to stay evacuated from the neighborhood...and that at least six families from this neighborhood will be staying at a shelter set up by the red cross tonight. 3 the shelter is set up at main street united open up a sinkhole this past october that washed away part of the road. also near anderson county -- the saluda dam today was roaring...just look at that... 3 officials with emergency management say county man killed in a hit and run...wants his wife...to be locked up forever.angelita fatality...we were the only ones there as she was hauled off to jail...and she went before a judge this morning... her husband brent tessnear was run down near this hardees in cowpens. 3 the charge comes just days after wright spoke only to our cameras...saying she felt tessnear's death was intentional. 3 fox carolina's andrew reeser was in court today, where wright was denied bond... andrew we understand brent tessnear's family was in court today... 3 they were...and they're angry. they say angelita wright and tessnear were going through a bitter divorce...and that they believe her hatred for him...drove her to kill him. 3 3 3 23:14:05"i don't think it was an accident, that's my honest opinion...."this is angelita wright talking to fox carolina monday...a day after her husband, brent tessnear was found near this hardees in determined he had been struck and killed. killed. 3 today, she faced a spartanburg county judge...charged herself...with hit and run, resulting in death. death. 3 16:01:30"making fools out of us when she is the one that murdered him all along." tessnear's brother, father and sisters along with other relatives were all at wright's bond hearing...they're angry... saying wright committed pre- meditated murder.15:58:49"she intended to do what she did... tessnear's father and brother asked a judge not to set a bond for wright...clad in this bulletproof vest as she formally heard her charge. 15:56:12"further evidence will prove this is premeditated murder."the family says tessnear and wright were going through a bitter divorce... pacolet police confirmed back in may...tessnear was charged with domestic violence..after she accused him of slapping her around. 3 3 15:59:05"love turned to hate, hate turned to bitterness, bitterness turned to anger and uh it's uh been some time coming and i thank god she gonna get what she deserves." the judge declined to set to a circuit court judge...the family says they hope by that time...more evidence will come forward proving tessnear's death was murder. 16:00:26"i wanna see justice be served...that she never get out from behind these bars." 3 the family says tessnear and wright have three children together...those children they say are with her grandparents...people they trust.they also say bringing a lunch to folks who are hungry but um you're developing relationships with people. our volunteers may be the only people they're going to see on a daily basis and so that human interaction, news out of greenwood county.a swift water rescue is just over and every is safe.it happened to some people in a car .. they got trapped in flood water on paysinger road in ninety six. again, everyone
