you see the delorean. the date might ring a bell if you're an aficionado of "back to the future." we are now at the date. >> yes. >> we're back to the future. >> "back to the future"-2-1. >> that's right. >> 30 years into the future, michael j. fox traveled. >> what was the date that marty mcfly went back to the future in the first one when he sent him back to the future. >> '55. >> when -- in other words, once he was back in 1955, what was the date that he came back. >> back to 1958. >> october 26th, 1985. >> wow. >> goes again in five days and keep this party going. >> naturally our song is "mother of love," huey lewis. >> i love huey lewis. >> that album, so many hits. >> love hi. he was like mtv classic. that's when mtv played videos. classic. big prediction made in the original film and its two sequels so how much did "back to the future" get right? in the film marty mcfly rode on a hover board. >> okay. we kind of have a hover board. >> sort of hoverish board. >> but you've got to use a magnetic base. >> that's a problem. >> and then you have the ones that aren't really hover boards that everybody is rolling through airports. >> mono rovers. >> it's getting there. >> it will happen probably in the next five years. chatting. of course we've had that for year, skype and facetime. good call there and the film featured dog-walking drones. >> there's an idea. >> we've got drones. >> but we need a drone that walks a dog. >> but it's -- it malfunctions. it's not going to end well. >> and how is it going to scoop the poop. >> the cast, look how long it took the film to get green lighted because people didn't see the big picture. drones that walked dogs. >> do they pick up the dog at your house, so many questions. >> does it pick up the poop, that's the bigger question. >> that's what i said. >> in the movie the characters wore 3-d glasses. >> yeah. >> we've got those all over the place, google glasses. one prediction, i'm sorry to say for you in chicago may not come. in "back to the future"-2-there's a billboard that reads cubs win world series. that was in 2015. they made it all the way to the nlcs, but last night at wrigley in chicago the mets beat the cubs 5-2. they are up 3-0 in that series. mets now just one win away from moving on to the world series and eliminating the cubs. >> it could happen. >> it has happened. >> it could happen. >> remember the red sox, right? >> sure. >> it could happen. >> 2004 i think. >> if they don't win it this year, does it ever matter anymore. we immediate it to be in the "back to the future" year. this is the only thing that could have erased the curse. >> not to get too deep in the espn weeds, but this cubs team is not a fluke. got pitchers. they will be good for a while. >> but there's only one "back to the future" year and that would have just been perfect. >> we still don't have the flying cars. >> no flying cars. >> we don't have mr. fusion on the back of our cars. >> we have the self-driving car. >> that's true. >> we don't have the self-lacing shoes, remember that? i guess velcro. >> velcro counts. when you're 5 years old velcro counts. >> my kids can't wait for the self-lacing shoes because how many times do they come undone. >> did you see matt's first part of the interview with christopher lloyd and michael j. fox. he's got more and like i told you my kids loved -- we went to "back to the future" at radio city with the 85-piece orchestra and david newman conducting, loved it and the whole series, film concert series and do it with a bunch of different movies and a different way to watch the movie. >> heard you playing that this morning, the orchestra version. >> phenomenal. >> matt will be here to talk about his interview and give us more with them. >> full costumes though that you want to talk about. >> impressive. this time of year you've got to start thinking about -- we already know what we're doing for halloween. >> can't tell anyone. >> but we found some that are impressive. first, it's a cinderella that transforms from ration to a gown. >> okay. >> created from comic-con in february, and wow, won the judge's prizes. watch this. >> she's just twirling. >> boom and cinderella, just like that, no mice involved. >> to keep doing that all night on halloween because once you reveal you run into a new group of people. >> can it turn back, that's the question? like if you swin in the opposite direction. >> that is nice. i like that. >> and, of course, cinderella having the pumpkin spice because the pumpkin turns into a carriage. >> you and the pumpkin spice. >> this next up, you can't see the kid inside the costume. it's 12-year-old tyler dressed as a sky ball machine. >> where do his eyes go. >> the problem, is unfortunately people knocked him out because they were rolling balls into him but that's impressive. >> his dad made that. >> that's impressive. >> that's super dad. >> not one you walk around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. >> throw the candy into the hole. >> that is efficient. >> that would be pretty cool. >> that's efficient. >> and then there's willie's most impressive costume. >> i have to shoutout that's me in 1982 at height of "star wars" mania. my mother hand made a chewbacca, not the mask, but sewed that costume and turned me into chewbacca, my favorite costume. >> she made the costume. >> it was a full suit of hair, not whatever it was. >> something. >> she sewed it by herself and bought the cheap little mask and i was chewbacca. >> let's hear your chewbacca. is that chewbacca or -- >> that sounded like a character "the simpsons." >> sounds like barney from "the simpsons." >> now -- >> i was 5. >> i didn't have a register. >> tweet us your photos of your video, the most impressive halloween costume you've seen or worn and use #"today's take." >> speaking costumes to candy halloween. get. i feel like you cannot mess with kiss. that's the world's most perfect cannedy in my point of view except if you're going to supersize it, make it bigger, the new hershey's kisses delux double the size of the original. >> what's that voice? >> i don't know. >> it's just me getting ready for a bite of candy. >> wow. seems seduced by the cannedy. >> however, however -- >> what's inside? >> happiness. >> i'm a little disappointeded. >> why. >> because there's a mix of hazelnut in the center. >> oh, you lost me. >> the i want a plain one. >> i don't like hazelnut. >> it's a whole hazelnut. >> the that should come with a warning, like -- >> like it's delicious. >> that could be the warning. >> hershey's, i'm pleading with you. >> it's very good. >> double the size of the plain kiss. >> i saw at this place, a chain i guess, it's sugar, i saw my ultimate, it's a two-pound >> oh, my gosh. >> we've got to get this in here. it's literally like a pie. >> they will send it to us. >> slice it. >> you can buy this thing. >> that is a fun size. finally -- >> a place -- >> finally someone came up -- when you have to open up ten to equal one bar, that's not fun. >> you don't like the fun size. it's a waste of time. >> it's the annoying size. the fun size. >> it's a nice little pop of sugar. >> but don't call it fun. it's not fun. >> remember the houses that gave out the full size. >> that's right. >> and they were the hero of the neighborhood. >> we do. >> i give the whole sizes. give like all chocolate that makes parent just mad at me. i'm not giving an apple. >> i'm going -- >> i give godiva. >> i'm going to roll it down the street and watch kids run after it like a big tire. >> go get it, kids. >> we have to get that in. oh, we do have to get in something else. pink or swim. >> oh, yes. >> still here and still raising money and willie is still going mm-hmm but, yeah, you guys have been donating to us. is the deal. we have to get this money in or we all won't be dunked. that's -- that's the -- that's the deal. we're donating the money, as you know, to avon. >> that's happening next week, right? >> if we get the money. >> next week already. >> we need it by next week. >> and you can also see your favorite hometown meteorologist report the weather with me, which would be great, and there's a chance for somebody to win a chance to come here to new york to actually hit the button. >> that's what i think is a big sell here. yes, we want your local meteorologist to come and we love them all. bring them all, it would be great, but that you can come here and you get to run up like natalie did it last year and without us knowing just smack it, and we go under. >> yeah. >> maybe not come back up. >> i'll do it twice. >> and you know what. if you donate, we'll have piranha in there just to make it interesting. >> no, we will not, al. >> literal shark tank. let's see how good we are. how fast can we get out of tank. friend. >> going to roll the reese's to watch the children and put us in a tank with a pran whavrnlgts off? >> there are some things that won't meant to be done. >> you want to put piranha in there. just us. cincinnati, new york, st. louis on. vote early. vote often. we're talking cities now, i didn't realize that. >> who is in the lead? >> cincinnati, new york, st. louis. >> yeah. >> oh, that's an interesting combo. >> there you go. by the way, my son told me this morning that chris cimino has a haircut so as he continues to track his favorite television meteorologist >> at least he still gets a haircut. >> what was that?
