a couple work crews out there. route 1 looking good. braintree to boston northbound on the expressway, south of town just ten minutes. route 3, 24 and 95 all green. we're not watching any issues there. heading in or out of town on the pike, you're problem-free. a couple work crews still out there on 128. still wrap things up as we head into the 5:00 hour. routes 2 and 3 are problem free, you're getting ready to head out the door. 12 minutes into town on the pike from 128. 93 southbound, 128 to the zakim bridge, just 11 minutes this morning. both the "t" and commuter rail expected to start the morning on schedule. back to you, guys. >> sarah: we begin with breaking news in lawrence. crews battling a massive fire. the flames tearing through a home. the fire has been burning for hours. let's go live to 7's jennifer eagan at the scene. jen? >> jennifer: sarah, firefighters are pouring water on five homes here on summer street. they have ladder trucks up. it's still a very active scene. we can still see some smoke coming from 29 summer street. amazingly, everyone who is in these five buildings did make it out safely. the red cross tells us that some 35 people were displaced. at least 35 people that they're taking care of right now. we just spoke to the chief a short time ago. he said first call came in around 2:00, 2:30 a.m. behind 29 summer street, and then that building, which is vacant, caught on fire. that fire spread to some of the surrounding buildings. so obviously that has been the focus of the morning, trying to contain the fire to initially just 29 summer street. it did spread and affect the other homes. we're told that two of the homes were destroyed. those will be a complete loss. and then there is some level of damage to the surrounding buildings here. also the chief telling us that injured. one fell, had a twisted ankle. that firefighter went to the hospital. the other firefighter who was injured did not end up going to the hospital. but still a very active scene. again, the "t" telling us that the initial report was that there was some kind of explosion behind one of the buildings here. there will certainly be an investigation into exactly what happened going on later today. live in lawrence this morning, jennifer eagan, 7news "today in >> amaka: and more breaking news. 7news searching for a shooter. a person was injured and a dog, as well. kris anderson has the breaking details. kris? >> kris: amaka, good morning. police would love to track down whoever is responsible for shots being fired on page street in dorchester this morning. we have confirmed that one female victim was shot and a dog was shot, as well. it all happened around 1:00 a.m. the initial call came in that it was on mcclellan street, which is right next t p right here on page street in dorchester. we still don't know the age of the victim who was shot here. but police have had... did have the area taped off early this morning while they were investigating the scene. we also mentioned the dog that was injured during this shooting. the dog is being put into a police cruiser with his leg taped up. it appears the dog is going to be okay. that's some good news for the dog. no report on that victim's condition here this morning. now, as far as the situation surrounding the shooting, police escalated to that point. they believe it may be connected to a fight that happened in this area earlier this morning. that's the latest live here in dorchester, kris anderson, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah: developing now, one teen is dead, two others recovering after a violent attack in new bedford. all three were stabbed, and this morning police are still searching for a suspect. 7's nicole oliverio is live now with the latest. nicole? >> nicole: sarah, one of those teens, a 15 year old, during this fight. investigators want to know what started it and who is responsible. a 15-year-old is stabbed during a fight. investigators say the teen collapsed and died as he tried running home for help. now this new bedford community wants to know why? >> he's a 15-year-old baby. he's a baby. he didn't get a chance to experience life. >> he would put a smile on his face because that's the kid he was. hearted. you know what i'm saying? he's 15 years old. he didn't even get to graduate high school. >> nicole: police say the teen was one of three. a 16 and 22 year old were also taken to the hospital with stab wounds but expected to survive. investigators trying to figure out what led up to the deadly stabbing. people who live in the complex say they try to keep to themselves, but they have problems with a group from another another part of town. >> we this our thing. but you don't get into no trouble. it's the outside people that want the start the problem with us. >> nicole: right now police are looking at surveillance video hoping that will lead to an arrest. people who live in the area just want the violence to stop. >> let's get with the program and let's stop killing these people. these are babies. >> nicole: investigators haven't said who was involved in but they're asking the public for help that could lead to an arrest. that's the latest live in new bedford, nicole oliverio, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah:>> amaka: right now pon lawrence are searching for the person who shot a woman in the head. the shooting happened on wednesday evening. the woman was taken to lawrence general hospital. her condition is not known. >> sarah: and breaking overnight, police are investigating a major rollover in merrimack, new hampshire. it happened on the e police say man was seriously injured after rolling over his car near exit 13. you can see the car ended up on its side and parts of the car scattered on the road. no word yet on the cause of the crash. also breaking overnight, a car slammed into a pole in lawrence. it happened on broadway early this morning. police say the driver ran off after the crash. there is no word yet on the cause of the accident. >> sarah: right now the condemning anti-semitic violence found at marblehead high school. police discovered writing on the softball field that said, "the jews did 9/11." a window was also broken. police are searching for the person responsible for the graffiti. >> amaka: and happening today, a former new hampshire state trooper is expected to plead guilty in connection with a violent arrest in nashua. 31-year-old andrew monaco will plead guilty to three counts of simple assault for beating richard shimon, jr., following a hi-s monaco faces up to five years behind bars. a massachusetts state trooper is also facing charges in connection with the incident. and new surveillance video shows the moments before police shot and killed an alleged terrorist in roslindale last summer. the d.a. is now saying officers were justified in shooting usaamah rahim when he pulled a knife on them. federal agents moved in after getting word that rahim was planning on killing police officers in boston. his family says officers should >> couldn't they have de-escalated that situation? couldn't they have disarmed him without having shot him numerous times? >> mr. rahim continued to advance on the officers, refused to drop his weapon, and responded by saying, "you drop yours" and "why don't you shoot me?" >> amaka: federal agents say rahim's plan was the travel out of state to kill someone. he got that order from a known member of crews in italy are searching for survivors following the devastating earthquake. the death toll is rising now. at least 247 people were killed when the magnitude 6 quake hit central italy wednesday morning. three towns suffered extensive damage. with with hundreds of homes destroyed, many survivors are now staying in tents and temporary shelters there, as well. >> amaka: now to the race for the white house. donald trump will be in manchester, new hampshire, today economic plan, which includes withdrawing from a trans-pacific partnership at a rally in mississippi last night. trump backtracked on his original promise to support everyone who was the area. this video shows a tornado touching down yesterday. the winds were so strong this starbuck toppled over. you see it right there on your screen. an ef-3 tornado struck the building. take a look. you see the storm outside the window of a restaurant across the street before the building falls right over. and crews now working to clear starbucks and other buildings all over the state. forecasters say that severe weather could continue over the next several days. ism incredible video. chris, hard to believe we had a tornado on monday and now we have this beautiful weather here. >> chris: ef-1 for us with 100mph winds out there in concord a few days ago. tornado yesterday from indiana to ohio. quite the outbreak for several hours ongoing there in the afternoon and early evening. for us it's been quiet the last couple days. continue to see quiet weather outside this morning. you know walking out the door, it's not as cool as it has been the past couple mornings. temperatures back up into the mid to upper 60s. wind is now out of the south-southwest. we change that wind direction and we start to decrease that warmth and humidity. we see that throughout the day today. yesterday all the sunshine. more humidity today. versus what we saw yesterday. there are showers and storms to the west of us. more clouds but i do expect a mainly dry day across new england this afternoon. dew point level, mid-60s now. 70s are off to the west of us. we'll increase the humidity into the 70s dew point-wise friday. so it will feel more tropicallish on friday. look at the weekend. right back down close to the comfortable category. we don't have the real high humidity in place. and with the higher humidity tomorrow, could be a passing shower towns. not a tremendous amount of that forcing the atmosphere to get a lot of the showers and storms going, but any time you're talking about high heat, high humidity, an isolated shower or storm. a couple scattered showers and storms back into the ohio valley, back into new york and pennsylvania later on this afternoon. otherwise just kwai its down across portions of the great lakes and into places like minneapolis, st. paul. a refreshing air mass change out that way. from as we get into the weekend. we'll have an isolated storm with humidity. tomorrow the high pressure noses its way in for the weekend. lower humidity. temperatures still nice and warm. mid-80s away from the coastline. upper 70s to near 80 along the coastline. sea breezes working in. heading out to the beach, heading out to the barbecue. 85 to 90 this afternoon. warm and breezy. sunny to partly cloudy skies. forecast for tonight mild and muggy. a couple 70. next couple nights ac running all night long. isolated shower out there. not expecting a lot of rain overnight tonight. with a lot of vapor, any isolated shower or thunderstorm that does form will be capable of producing a downpour. a couple degrees either side of 90. we're talking about a hot and humid forecast. in the tropics, a notable wave just north of the dominican right now. that may get close to the bahamas into florida and even continues to develop. for us it's quiet, though. isolated showers possible again on monday. >> amaka: thanks, chris. right now investigators trying to figure out what caused an ultra-light plane to crash into a reservoir. this pilot is safe. >> sarah: crews pulling a aircraft out of a reservoir at ashland state park. 48-year-old david diana of hopkinton says he had an engine problem. there was no place to go. i went over the trees. this was the only place i could drop it. >> sarah: despite falling from 1,500 feet, diana wasn't hurt. he was able to unbuckle and ditch the $45,000 helicopter in the water. >> someone was able to help him out and brought him to the shore with a boat that was already in the water. >> sarah: ashland police say diana took off from marlborough than five gallons of fuel, so there is no risk to the environment. >> we found out almost immediately that he was the sole occupant of the aircraft. >> sarah: this is a view inside diana's choper from a previous flight. it gives you a glimpse of what flying an ultra-light helicopter is like. diana says he practices for this kind of situation all the time. >> you look for places if you have a problem, you know how to put it down. >> sarah: and that helicopter has been taken away. the pilot hurt. >> sarah: now to video saw first on 7. a plane involved in a emergency landing is removed from a sapped bar on the quabbin reservoir. sky7 was over the scene as crews picked that plane up to a helicopter. they pulled it high over the water. the pilot of the plane was forced to make an emergency landing on that sandbar after some engine trouble weather looking out there today? >> chris: looks like we'll increase the humidity a little bit, but temperatures like yesterday warming well into the 80s if not a few towns close to 90 degrees. we start off mild this morning. mid-60s or a few upper 60s and a couple passing clouds overnight and very early this morning. i do expect sunshine this morning. a few more clouds in the mix this afternoon. i do want to show you some of these showers across the eastern great lakes. a lot of that has a hard time getting ine the day. so we'll keep the daylight hours on the dry side. maybe an isolated passing shower overnight tonight. warm as we climb into the mid-80s to even near 90 degrees. no sea breeze today. that southwesterly wind is strong enough to hold back any sea breeze, and, of breaking news to get to now. 35 people are displaced after massive fire breaks out in lawrence. two homes have been completely destroyed. others in the area damaged. the fire chief tells us the call originally came in for an explosion behind a vacant building. with a twisted ankle. the other was treated at the scene of the fire. >> sarah: also breaking, police are searching for the gunman who allegedly shot one person and a dog in dorchester. it happened early this morning on mcclellan street. police have the area taped off while they investigate. we're told the shooting may be related to a fight that was broken up earlier. >> amaka: and developing this morning, police are searching for the suspect who stabbed and killed a 15-year-old boy in new bedford. stabbed during a fight at the temple landing housing project wednesday evening. he collapsed and died near his home. a 22-year-old and a 16-year-old were also hurt. they are expected to be okay. >> sarah: right now salem police are trying to track down the people behind this blast. the mailbox belongs to an l.g.b.t. newspaper called the rainbow "times." this morning investigators want to know if the group was targeted. police say the explosion rocked could be heard up to a mile away. >> at first it was very shocking to me. i literally gasped. and i covered my mouth. >> sarah: investigators say early tuesday morning a group of seven people placed an explosive device inside a "rainbow times" newspaper box in salem square. detectives are treating it as a hate crime. >> it makes me sad that there are still people out there that have enough hatred to blow up a newspaper box. >> sarah: the paper said in the last month as many as a dozen "rainbow "times"" newspaper boxs have been vandalized in downtown salem. that's why they make sure to have them in view of a traffic camera, but they said it's never been anything like this. >> we have amazing support in salem. it's not the location we ever expected it to happen in. >> sarah: despite being targeted, owners of the l.g.b.t. newspaper have no plans of removing any boxes. >> it's really sad. enough is enough. people say that. >> sarah: the explosion was cowardly and they are working hard toward bringing those responsible to justice. that was the facebook post. >> amaka: new details about a proposed medical marijuana dispensary. according to the "globe," city councilors approved a bill to build a dispensary in a vacant space in east boston. they also chose not to support o a separate dispensary in alston. they had previously approved another company's bid to build there. and the city council has approved a public rating system to rate the food safety practices of boston restaurants. according to the "globe," each restaurant will receive an aa, ab or an ac. each grade will be based off of safety violations during city inspections. the inspectional services department is expected the hand out the grades within the next during first year of the program. >> sarah: a robber is behind bars after a standoff in south boston. the swat team arresting a 39-year-old man after he barricaded himself inside a home yesterday morning. police say he was carrying this ak-47 assault rifle at the time. police say the suspect attempted to jump out the window of this building on b street but did not make it out on time. after five hours of negotiation, officers took him into custody. according to the "boston globe," the suspect had been wante at least two bank robbery, including a robbery inside a stop and shop in bedford on monday. >> amaka: and the autographed patriots' helmet stolen from a foxborough restaurant earlier this month has now been returned. surveillance video showed a man stealing the helmet from skipjack's august 11th. you see it there. police say he then left without paying his bill. the man sent the helmet back to the restaurant wednesday along with an apology note and money to cover his tab. patriots' president jonathan craft wanted boston-based daily sports company fan duel to mastering. >> sarah: a merger was discussed, which would have given fan duel 60% of the company. but fan duel rejected the latest? >> jennifer: amaka, the chief tells us that five homes were affected by fire. you can see there is still a stopped pouring water down opt these homes a few minutes ago. that's a sign they do helping 35 residents of these injured, no one is unaccounted for at this point. two of his firefighters were injured. one fell, had a twisted ankle and went to the hospital. the people who live here developing overnight, the search continues for a suspect who stabbed three people in new bedford. police say a 15-year-old boy was killed after a fight at a housing project last night. a 22 year old and a 16 year old were also hurt. they are expected to be okay. >> amaka: also this morning, police are investigating a dangerous drive in men door. -- mendon. two people seriously injured after a school bus and a car collide. police say the driver of that black car was trying to take a left on route 140 yesterday morning when the driver slammed into a bus. kids on the bus between ages six and 13 years old were headed to a summer camp. those people in the car were rushed to the hospital. and a driver in medford ends up in the water while trying to pick up a jet-ski. officials say the driver backed up too far and got stuck in the water. the car sank down until it almost sunk completely under water. crews were able to pull it back on the shore. thankfully no one was hurt. >> sarah: a landlord in maine is making it clear he wants pok?mon go players to stay off of his property. adam patterson recently posted these specialized no trespassing signs near his building. one reads, "stop go and get a real job." the other reads, "catch pok?mon somewhere else, moron." he said he wanted to catch people's attention. pok?mon players are set to hold a peaceful protest on saturday. >> amaka: and happening today, a court hearing will be held on volkswagen's proposed emissions settlement. the company reached a $14.7 billion settlement in june after it admitted last year to rigging certain vehicles to pass the editor-in-chief at wikileaks is promising to leak thousands of new documents. they reportedly pertain to hillary clinton, the dnc and the presidential election. the dnc is just getting over a massive summer hacking breech. julian assange says the documents are very damaging. new details in the controversy surrounding the manufacturers of the epipen. this morning there is word that the c.e.o. of mylan is the daughter of west senator joe manchin. manchin is not a member of the senate judiciary committee, which has shown interest in probing the company's pricing practices, and so far the senator is not discussing the issue. the cost of epipens has jumped from $56 to $317 over the last eight years. that's more than a 40% increase. the company says that product improvements have led to increased manufacturing costs. >> amaka: and happening right now, police in delaware are fall. investigators say a 58-year-old woman was killed when she fell 40 feet from the zip line ride yesterday at a state park. no one else was hurt. there is no word yet on what caused the fall. >> sarah: police are looking for the people who vandalized a mural dedicated to the victims of a mass shooting at a south carolina church. officials say it happened over the weekend. someone spray painted graffiti on a painting of the pastor killed during that police say 22-year-old dylann hearing an explosion before the fire erupted. >> amaka: 7's jennifer eagan is live on jen? >> jennifer: this is a very difficult morning for several families. the red cross telling us that we're helping some 35 people who were displaced by this fire, and the chief telling us that between 4 and 5 homes were affected by all of this. we're still assessing the damage here. you -- they stopped they tried to get everything that they could out of their apartment. they had the chance to grab them. some of them had a total loss right now. we see the state fire marshal shall's office is on scene anderson is live in dorchester with more on the shooting. kris, what can you tell us? >> kris: amaka, we have learned that this female shooting victim has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, this from e.mes. we're right here on page street in dorchester. the house behind me, 23 page street, is where this apparently took place around 1:00 a.m. we have some video from earlier that we want to show you, just to celt the scene when police were still on the scene. again, happened around 1:00 a.m. when those shots were fired. and initially the call came in on mcclellan street, which is right down the street, right nearby where it intersects with page street. it was at this house on page street. we still don't know the age of the victim. but police did have the area taped off for a while while they investigated. you mentioned the dog. there was a dog that was hurt. we're in the sure if the doing but the dog was put into a police cruiser with his leg taped up and it appears the dog is going to be okay. so that is a bit of good news here. some neighbors are beginning to wake up this morning, starting to come out and we're going the talk with them in a little bit to figure out what they saw and what they heard. police are still trying to track down the shooter, as well, so that's the important part. they don't know who is responsible for this shooting, and they would sarah, according to witness, they say that teen was just feet from his home when he collapsed and died. now police are searching for suspects. they want to know what led up to this fight and who is a 15-year-old is stabbed during a fight. investigators say the teen collapsed and died as he tried running home for help. now this new bedford community wants to know why? >> why? why you take this little 15-year-old baby? he's a baby. he didn't ge a chance to experience life. >> he would put a smile on his face, because that's just the type of kid he was. he was a very outgoing kid, big hearted. you know what i'm saying? he's 15 years old. he didn't even get to graduate high school. >> nicole: police say the teen stabbed. officers say there was a big fight at the housing projects. a 16 and 22 year old were also taken to the hospital with stab wounds but expected to survive. investigators trying to figure out what led up to the deadly stabbing. people who live in the complex say they try to keep to themselves, but they have problems with a group from another housing project from another part of town. >> we talk. we laugh with each other. we do our thing. we don't get into no gasped. and i covered my mouth. >> sarah: investigators say early tuesday morning a group of seven people placed an explosive device inside a "rainbow times" newspaper box in salem square. detectives months as many as a dozen "rainbow times" newspaper boxes have been vandalized in downtown salem. that's why they make sure to have them in view of a traffic camera, but they said it's never been hard toward arresting whoever is responsible. video shows the moments before police shot and killed an alleged terrorist in roslindale last summer. the d.a. says officers were investigated in shooting usaamah rahim when he pulled a knife on them. federal agents proved in after getting word that rahim was planning on killing police officers in boston. but his family says officers should have used a different approach. >> couldn't they have de-escalated that situation? couldn't they have disarmed him numerous times? >> mr. rahim continued to advance on the officers, refused to drop his weapon and responded by saying, "you drop yours" and "why don't you shoot me." >> amaka: rahim's original plan was to travel out of state the kill someone. he got that orderer from a known member of isis. >> sarah: a robbery suspect is behind bars. the swat team arresting a 39-year-old man after he barricaded himself inside aom police say he was carrying this ak-47 assault rifle at the time. police say the suspect attempted to jump out this window on b street but did not make it out in town. after five hours of negotiation, officers took him into custody. according to the "boston globe," the suspect had been wanted for at least two bank robbery, including a robbery inside a stop & shop in bedford on monday. >> sarah: and police are investigating after a car and black car was trying to take a left on route 140 yesterday morning when it slammed into a bus. both people in the car were seriously injured. the kids on the bus ranged in ages between 6 and 13 years old and they were headed to a summer camp. thankfully no one on the bus was hurt. and a plane involved in an emergency landing has been removed from a sandbar on the quabbin reservoir. sky7 was over the scene yesterday when crews hooked up that plane to a big helicopr. and then pulled it high over the water. the pilot of that plane was forced to make an emergency landing on that sandbar on tuesday after some engine trouble. he was not hurt. police say there is no environmental threat from the incident. >> sarah: we have new details as the autographed patriots' helmet that was stolen from a foxborough restaurant earlier this month has now been returned. surveillance video showed the man stealing the helmet from police say he then left without paying his bill. the man sent the helmet back to the restaurant on wednesday along with this apology note that said "sorry for the trouble." he also included $70 to cover his tab. i guess his conscience got to him? >> amaka: guess he learned his lesson. still ahead, making the expressway. 13 minutes into town on the pike from 128. 93 southbound, 128 to the zakim bridge 18 minutes. the "t" is running on schedule. on the commuter rail, we're watching some delays on the haverhill line. back to you, guys. >> amaka: breaking news in lawrence. dozens of people are displaced by this fast-moving fire. at least six homes are damaged or destroyed by the flames. fire erunninged. 7's jennifer eagan live on the scene with the very latest. >> jennifer: sarah, amaka, good morning. a very difficult morning for several families in lawrence. you see the fire department still on scene pouring water down on one of these homes. as you just mentioned, the chief telling us that six homes were affected by fire here along summer street this morning. four of those homes can no long ber lived in. two have some serious damage to them. but the apartments coul now, the red cross told us earlier this morning that they were helping 35 people. amazingly, everyone in these apartments did make it out safely. two firefighters were injured here on scene. one fell, twisted an ankle and went to the hospital. as you mentioned, the chief tells us that first report around 2:00, 2:30 p.m. were that there was a small explosion behind one of the buildings here along summer street. that is certainly something that they will be looking into. people who live here describe morning with their neighbors and police knocking on their doors, telling them to get out. >> horrible. a lot of families... >> it was like the worst thing i've ever seen. i seen the flames so close that i was under the impression that our house was going to catch fire. >> jennifer: the chief tells us they're setting a shelter up down the street at a local school for some families who have been again, that affected six homes here along summer street and lawrence. also the state fire marshal's office is on scene to investigate. live in lawrence this morning, jennifer eagan, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah: also breaking news in boston, shots are fired and in a dorchester neighborhood and a woman and dog are wounded. 7's kris anderson live on the scene with more on this shooting. >> chris: sarah, good morning. the gun shot wound this woman suffered is apparently have here. we're on mcclellan street in dorchester right now. there are two scenes. one on mcclellan where apparently according to neighbors the shots were fired. and then the young lady lives right around the corner on page street. we have some video from earlier. we want to show you when the scene was active. police have the areas roped off as they were investigating, figuring out what happened here. about 1:00 a.m., it appears there was some sort of fight, some sort of argument that led to the shots being fired. at least that's what neighbors are telling us so far. the young lady was hit. and then it look like she tried page street. and that's when she was transported, taken to the hospital with those potentially life-threatening injuries. you mentioned there was a dog injured, as well. we're not sure if the dog was shot or what happened with the dog, but he was loaded up into a police car. it appears the dog is going to be okay. had a chance to talk to some of the neighbors. they say the girl was about 18 years old, and they're just praying she makes a recovery. that's the story live here in bedford. a 15 year old is dead, two others injured after a stabbing attack. police are now reviewing surveillance video for clues to catch the killer. 7's nicole oliverio is live in new bedford with more. >> nicole: amaka, just a sad story. now, according to the district attorney's office, they say three people were stabbed, including a 15 year old. that 15 year old collapsed not far from his home as he was trying to get to his parents for help. according to investigators, they say two others wer including a 16 and 22 year old. this all happening at a housing project here in new bedford just after 6:30 last night. police say there was a group fight. what is unclear is who exactly was fighting, who was involved and who did the stabbings. as you mentioned, police are looking for surveillance video to see if they can help in their investigation. meanwhile, people in the neighborhood say they just want the violence to stop. kid, big hearted, you know what i'm saying? he's 15 years old. he didn't even get to graduate high school. >> let's get with the program and let's stop killing these people. these are babies! >> amaka: the other two people who were hurt are expected to survive. police are asking anyone with information to give them a call. live in new bedford, nicole oliverio, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah: right now police in lawrence are searching for the person who shot a woman in the head. according to the "eagle-tribune," the shooting happened on the woman was taken to lawrence general hospital. her condition is not yet known. >> sarah: and new this morning mark is seriously injured in this rollover crash in merrimack, new hampshire. police say the driver was ejected from the car after he lost control, hitting a barrier and a wall on the everett turnpike. no word yet on the cause of the crash. >> sarah: police in salem are investigating this blast as a possible hate crime. they're looking for seven people box belonging to an l.g.b.t. group. the explosion was heard up to a mile away, causing several calls to police. salem police are asking for your help in identifying anyone who may be involved. >> amaka: and happening today, a former new hampshire state trooper is expected to plead guilty in connection with a violent arrest in nashua. 31-year-old andrew monaco will plead guilty to three counts of simple assault for beating richard simone, jr., following monaco faces up to five years behind bars. a massachusetts state trooper is also facing charges in connection with the incident. >> sarah: we're following developing news. crews in italy continue to search for survivors following the devastating earthquake. there the death toll continues to rise. at least 247 people were killed when a magnitude six quake hit central italy wednesday morning. three towns suffered extensive damage. many survivors are now staying >> sarah: and a tornado is caught on camera touching down in ohio. you can see it tearing through a mobile home and sending debris flying into the air. officials say at least seven homes were damaged. a number of people were left without power. no one was hurt. and in indiana, a tornado leveled this starbucks. take a look at this video. you can see the storm outside the window of a restaurant across the street before the building falls right over. >> sarah: the world's largest aircraft crashed in england on wednesday. developers say it hit the ground during a second test flight. the cockpit was damaged. fortunately all of the crew members are okay. the it was 92 feet long and cost about $43 million. >> amaka: now to the race for the white house, donald trump will be in manchester, new hampshire, today for a rally. he's planning to talk about his economic plan at a rally in mississippi last night. everyone who is in the country illegally. he's now saying he will consider allowing some to stay. and later today, hillary clinton will deliver a speech in nevada on the connection between trump and a movement often associated with white nationalism. aids say clinton's speech is an attempt to go on the offensive against trump. >> sarah: the red sox are holding rookie outfielder andrew benintendi returns to the field soon. he is set to be evaluated again today. the 22-year-old inj last night's loss to tampa. he was tagged out and ended up rolling over on his left
