members to repay enlistment bonuses. the pentagon was collecting the bonuses from more than 6,000 soldiers who were overpaid to enlist and serve in iraq and afghanistan at the height of the wars. the along blue hill avenue and gets ou walking steps behind the 13-year-old girl. 7 news is not showing the girl in order to protect her identity. neighbors heard her yell for help around 6:15 yesterday morning. >> this was like a sound that i have never heard. it made me jump up and go to the window. >> some guy grabbed her from the back. she kicked him in the leg. she started screaming. some person came to her rescue. the guy fled. report tt girl's step father says she is upset but not nervous. you know, she is afraid not to leave the house. but it is not going to stop her from going to school. that the team compiled a sexually explicit scouting report that assigned ratings to women's soccer team recruits. now, the report was published monday in the harvard crimson. the dean of the school says the actions run counter to the values of harvard university. also at harvard, dining workers are expected to vote today on a proposed deal that would officially bring an end to tir announcing today. you take a look up in marblehead here: you see a little built of a chop on the waters. but overall, the wind not as strong as we have seen. that wave action will go up as we get into friday morning. thanks to the on-shore winds. that will pick up. almost looks like a beach day. if temperatures were a mere 40 degrees warmer. right? it is out of the north. northwest. steady enough at about 10-15 miles an hour that it's producing a windchill factor. yes, it is 46 in boston. feels more like 42. even out there in worcester, that 40 degrees reading feeling like 31 at this point. more clouds across the cape. have had a lot of ocean-effect cloud cover. didn't see that up there in marblehead. you look off to the east there. you see it into the gulf of maine. a few more clouds backing in along the coastline tonight. especially lip across the cape. maybe isolate sprinkles or showers across tomorrow afternoon, clouds thickening up. rain starts to break on out. there is going to be enough cold air or even into worcester county, wouldn't be surprised to see a few wet snowflakes or sleet pellets mixed in before the flip completely over to rain. not expecting the accumulation of snow or sleet from worcester county east to boston. however, out there into berkshires, north western connecticut, maybe in the hillier terrain, some minor accumulations. several inches likely in the higher terrain of vermont. perhaps, some of the mountains in maine picking up half a look at the wall of rain that works on through overnight tomorrow into friday morning. that will provide us with a good inch, to an inch and a half of water. in terms of the snowfall totals, again, from worcester county east, don't really expect much. you start getting up there near north adams, southern vermont, could be several inches in the highest terrain. here are the rain totals. there will be a gusty wind that develops along the south coast of new england. more on that. over to danielle. >> danielle: thanks, chris. along with all of that rain, we will see some wind, too. for tomorrow evening, it is just breezy. overnight is when those winds really pick up. you can see these reds along the coast. this is where we can see winds gusting anywhere from 30-40 miles an hour. especially out along the cape and the islands, too. it is going to be very windy friday morning. bum we do still need the rain. even though so far this month, we have picked up a little bit over four inches. for the first time, we are above average since february. did the entire summer. the average temperature, hard to believe if you walk outside today, our average for the month is almost three degrees above where we should be. we were in the 80's last week. the 40's right now, definitely chilly. we are going to end not expecting until you get into western massachusetts. up into the berkshires. seasonable weekend.
