revealing the allegations behind these troubling charges. 7's tim caputo outside the maldon high school with more details for us today. >> reporter: adam, these are alarming accusations. he told his mother and police that the sexual assaults happened over the course of several months. >> how do you plead guilty or not guilty. >> reporter: maintains his innocence in court. steven mcdonald's is accused of repeated abusing a student at the school. frequently took a 16 year old disabled student to assist him. prosecutors say that's where the alleged sexual assaults happened. the incidents started at the beginning of last school year and continued to march. >> the defendant continuously home and kill his mother. the defendant would offer the victim candy on occasions to lure him to the bathroom. >> reporter: the 16 year old boy tried to not use the bathroom during school to avoid mcdonald. >> he was left in the hall way in wet clothes. the victim told staff at the school that the defendant was mean. >> reporter: mcdodged was immediately put on leave and indicted last week on a number rape. his attorney says the accusations are untrue. >> he maintains his innocence. the story told by the alleged victim is an incredible unbelievable story. >> reporter: mcdonald was released without bail. his attorney argued that he should not have to wear a gps ankle monitoring bracelet.
