Six people were shot outside a south side laundromat, and now police are looking for the person who opened fire in a busy strip mall. Tonya francisco is live at comer Childrens Hospital with the story. Could morning. Among the victims were to teenagers. A 14 yearold boy was brought here to the Childrens Hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. A 16 yearold boy taken to Crest Medical Center also shot in the leg. No information on their condition. From what we are told, to teens among a total of seven people injured when the gunfire erupted at the laundromat in the strip mall of the 2600 block of east 79th street. Police say just after 8 00 p. M. The man ran up and fired into a crowd. Paramedics found four victims inside the laundromat and three outside. Three men ages 414252 were shot. One in the elbow, one in the arm and another in the leg. A woman also shot and a 25 year old woman injured her toe while trying to get away. She was not hit by a bullet. Police say none of the injuries are life threatening and most of the victims were treated and released from the hospital. No suspects are in custody at the time. To 12 Year Old Girls and wisconsin are accused of murderingjudge trying to murder their friend after seeing something on line. Both charged as adults with attempted first degree homicide. Prosecutors say they attacked their friend on saturday during a game of hide and seek. One girl held the victim down all the other stabbed her 19 times. Police said they planned it for months because of an internet or character. Both suspects had a fascination with a character that often posted to web site with a collection of small stories about death and horror. The victim was found alive on a sidewalk. Doctors say one stab wound was a millimeter away from killing her. There are already political and constitutional questions over the prisoner swap that freed Sergeant Bowe bergdahl from afghanistan. As Andrew Spencer reports, there is now a military controversy, as some of bowes former soldiers level some serious accusations against him. Former congressman Jesse Jackson junior is expected to get out of prison three months early. Jackson is serving a twoand yearprison sentence for misusing campaign funds. He was originally scheduled to be released in december of next year, but is now expected to get out in september of 2015. Jackson has also paid the remaining 550thousand dollars that he owed the federal government. Federal prosecutors have started presenting secretly recorded conversations in which state representative Derrick Smith allegedly schemed to take a 7thousand dollar bribe from a Day Care Center operator. Smiths defense argues, he was entrapped. More recordings are expected to be played today when the trial continues. Chicago police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman inside a bar in wrigleyville. Officials are not naming the bar, but it happened on clark south of addison. The incident was reported by the victim early sunday. Police only have a vague description of her attacker. The coast guard plans to question the only survivor of a boating accident on lake michigan. The man was pulled from the water sunday morning, after the boat capsized on a trip from new buffalo, michigan, to burnham harbor. 26yearold ashley haws died after going overboard. The boats owner and a woman in her 20s are missing and presumed dead. A father from cary is talking publicly about the freak accident that killed his ten yearold daughter during a camping trip last weekend. Allison spahr died early sunday morning when a big oak tree fell on their tent at the Devils Lake State Park near baraboo. Kevin spahr was camping with his two youngest children, including his 13yearold son kyle. He says storms moved through the area and they were cuddled together in the tent when the tree came crashing down. The sound of that tree crashing is always in my mind. Ogden International School on chicagos Near North Side held another meeting to address a case of antisemitic bullying. Several eighth grade students were suspended last week for harassing a classmate who is jewish. The suspended students are accused of telling the jewish student to get into an oven and wear striped pajamas, like a holocaust victim. The kids also played the online game clash of clans, and called their team jew incinerator. Some say suspension is not enough. But consider this bullying, its not a lean that minimizes what happened. Several parents who have gotten up in the meeting and said their kids have been bullied and the principle has never done anything. A statement from mayor emanuel was read at last nights meeting. He said there is no room in our schools for bullying of any kind. Cps continues to investigate the incident. A manhunt in california is over after fbi agents arrest a man wanted in an explosives investigation. Agents tracked down Ryan Chamberlain yesterday near the Golden Gate Bridge in san francisco. His arrest was caught on cell phone video by a bystander. The fbi had been looking for chamberlain since saturday, after they searched his home. They suspected he was in possession of explosives. Yesterday, chamberlain posted a suicide note on his facebook page, saying he was facing financial problems and had been fighting depression for years. A father in utah is being hailed a hero for stopping a High Speed Police chase that came dangerously close to kids playing in a park. Police were trying to stop a 14yearold driver who had stolen his grandfathers car. They called the chase off when the teen drove into the park. But a father, who was angry his kid almost got hit, took matters into his own hands. He jumped into his truck and rammed the stolen car. A unversity in South Carolina fired one of its professors after his picture appears on a beer can. Paul roof worked at Charleston Southern university. Until he got his notice last friday.
