day her daughter was killed. accused killer wilson allegedly used the coins to pay cab fare after the murder in october of 2011 but then defense attorney had the jury listened to the 911 call placed after she discovered her daughter's body. the mother reported that her daughter appeared to of committed suicide although police later quickly arrived classified the case as a murder and the medical examiner testified yesterday that the death was very unlikely a suicide. this morning the defense also called police detectives to the stand questioning why they did not go further into the background of landscapers in the neighborhood that day. the defense is expected to call over a dozen witnesses to try to further establish reasonable doubt. that is expected to happen quickly and then both sides are expected to rest and the jury could get this case by the end of the day. the defendant is not expected to take the stand. >> a judge in south africa has found oscar pistorius guilty of some of the lesser charges against him. the judge cleared him of murder saying the state did not prove intent but she did find him guilty by what is known as culpable homicide. meaning he was negligent in causing someone's death. he was also found guilty of one of the three weapons charges against him. >> we had never any doubt in his version of this tragic incident. >> we believed from the onset that there was sufficient evidence to convict the accused on those charges. >> he was released on bail after the verdict. he faces up to 15 years in prison for the culpable homicide conviction. he will be report from illinois child welfare agency finds a disturbingly high rates of child deaths caused by abuse or neglect. according to dcfs at least 87 of last year's 210 child deaths are blamed directly on this treatment. 29 similar deaths are still waiting an official ruling. they have had four different directors in the past 10 months and questions have been raised about the accuracy and
