and wetter here in the north, based on that la ne?a pattern but here in new england the coin flipping what it means is basically nothing. you need to watch us every night to get the forecast day by day, because i'm not telling you anything. this is the rain chance to west and the cold front pushing our way. two things to watch for. this front coming across but also there is tropical moisture coming up from the south. whether or not that clips new england or stays to the east is still a big question, and we use our computer models to figure that out. there is still some question as to south, cooler today but still mild and that front goes back to the north during tomorrow. so tomorrow will be a mild and stickyish day around here. when say mild, temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s are still possible, but with the lack of sun, mostly going to stay in the 60s. there are the rain showers, at any time during the day tomorrow. not everyone gets one. but the risk is there. all day long. then what happens from there is this front will come across eventually. whether or not this heaviest rain stays out over the ocean or comes in and clips eastern massachusetts, that is the tropical part of this. you know very well we have to watch the tropical systems hour-by-hour, let alone by day by day, to see how they do and how they will interact with systems that normally come in through the area. so, our futurecast data shows the high asterisk of heavy i have rain is in eastern massachusetts from phthalate tomorrow and into tomorrow night and first thing saturday morning. overnight tonight, temperatures will be showers, a shower threat in worcester going and boston, notice the temperatures rising a bit overnight. that is because the front is coming north wand and coming through us, that is bringing the shower threat with us and also bringing mild, muggy air, into the area. high temperatures will be in the low 70s and upper 60s across the area, if you get low 70s you have to hope for a little sun to poke out. it is not looking likely in most locations. then there is this. we get a break saturday morning, another batch of showers starts to wheel on in here on saturday. but look at the green turning to blue over here. down saturday night it starts to snow through the green mountains into the white mountains into the berkshires, is it possible to see snow even into the worcester hills? well, the lighter blue would be where the flurry risk is, flurry, andz a you get into the darker blue is the highest chance of seeing accumulating snow. that's the warp yesterday, in the 80s, but back to summer and now back to autumn, temperatures this evening in the upper 50s for your dinner plans, no showers in the boston area, worcester, most of to new england ahead of the cold front, actually a warm front to the south. we have a north front that brought warm air and went south, cooler air came in, now the front wants to go back to the north today and it will increase the risk for showers. right now we have showers streaming by to the north and west. and to into new hampshire, manchester is seeing some concord new hampshire is seeing some, live the berkshires, shows a couple showers out there. the radar closest to boston and taunton, not showing anything happening here. no showers. that is certainly good news for your plans this evening. there are some clouds that are going to increase and here comes the front from the south that increases the risk of shower this evening, later tonight. really. and through the early morning hours. notice the showers increasing the in coverage, maybe drizzle, too, as this comes by, because the humidity is going to increase behind that front. going to be warm and humid, warm 70 degrees. those showers come to a break after the front goes by during the morning, might even get a couple breaks of sun to pop out. then we cloud back up and here comes so more showers. we are still waiting for that front to the west. but at the same time, there is some tropical rainfall to the south that wants to stream ahead of that front. and clip eastern massachusetts especially. so the high asterisk of seeing some of the heaviest rain is in eastern massachusetts but a close shave if this jogs a little to the right, clearly, it misses all but cape cod. so that is what we will be then it comes farther west and we will go to the west as well. that is ahead of the front, is the wild card right now. some of the heaviest rain. without the tropical system and without the tropical rainfall, we will just deal with a cold front coming through and it wouldn't the much for us, just showers coming by with cold air behind it. something to talk about. but, this wild card could produce heavier rain here, in eastern massachusetts. and eastern new england in general. overnight tonight, low temperatures in the 50s as thed you diness out there and quincy to 72. 71 brookline and 71 malden on the south shore temperatures generally in the low 70s here as well. you get the idea. going to be about the same every where by tomorrow afternoon. fast forward to sar. get a break in the morning, but the cold air blowing in, behind the cold front produces showers and as they increase in intensity and we hit nightfall saturday evening, rain changes to snow especially in the higher elevation, berkshires into the green mountains, over to the white mountains, even into flurries are possible with this. we are not tack about accumulating snow in massachusetts but the high asterisk of accumulating snow is in the deeper blues in vermont and new hampshire in the highest elevations of mountains, really, with some flurries as far as worcester county certainly a possibility. and that's something we will be watching for some october flakes to fly. and there you are, temperatures really dropping, by sunday, highs only in the 50s. and staying that way through much of next week. with some chances of showers
