the first time. we knew right from this get-go this is a larger than life figure physically and emotionally. he came into the clubhouse and looked up to guys like pedro, and manny and jason varite he assumed a leadership role of pretty quickly given his exploits on the field. how did you see the evolution of david becoming a guy who was just important to the red sox to suddenly becoming important
