During a weekend practice, he says coach glen pascal had that team perform a similar exercise, had the girls crawl on their hands and knees blind folded, but, and we want to be clear, no player was asked to carry another. In a Statement Released to fox 25, the superintendent says the drill caused confusion and concern, adding it did not reflect the core values of the district. Th and been quite a storm, no question about it. Coming off of the bahamas earlier this evening. Its pushing toward florida. The storm is moving off to the northwest. Im gonna add some flared here so you can get a better look at that eye. You can see the rain bands swirling around towards that center and the eye moving toward us. The northern eye wall is intense with precipitation and thunderstorms, too. As its moving off toward the florida coastline, what ive done is put in an arrow that gets us from the center right up to the coast and in the direction that its moving. Its actually closer to palm city and maybe in West Palm Beach but pierce. Its 75 Miles Per Hour. If it were to come directly to the coast, it would still take about five hours to get there at the current speed. Now, the National Hurricane center last puts the fix on this just to the northwest of grand bahamas. There in fact is where our futurecast data takes it to jupiter and port st. Lucie with it making landfall today in the earlymorning hours. Its inland. Either way its going to be a destructive, powerful storm for the east coast of florida, particularly to the space coast area. Police searching for a shooter who killed a man in front of a school bus in roxbury. He was shot in the head after a fight broke out between several people in the area of zeigler streets around 5 30 tonight. He died at hospital. A Boston Public School spokesperson tells fox 25 three students from Harvard Kent Elementary School were on board the bus at the time. Children they did see it, but again, it goes to this being a brazen crime that we need the public to step up and help us solve this. None of the students were hurt. Crisis counselors will be on hand at the school tomorrow. Gloucesters mayor is making some changes, decided to let the police chief retire, reversing a decision she made earlier this week to fire him. Chief campnello was terminated following allegations he died during a city investigation. Now the Mayors Office contract ends january 3rd. Campanello says todays decision is whats best for everyone. The supermarkets have been cleared out, so people seem to be ready to hunker down but the best advice was to evacuate, to get away from these areas that could see the worst of the i imagine the winds arent all that destructive yet. The structures were seen intact, trees in tact, the occasional leaf or small kind of branch from a small tree, but we have seen nothing of any serious damage or impact yet.
