We have a weather boundary drift through the region. To the north of that boundary will be cool. To the south it will be mild. We are actually going to see this boundary shift further hours. Clouds. A few sprinkles. Note. Low 60s. 58 in boston. 55 in lynn. A little bit cooler to the north and west in worcester county, southwestern New Hampshire is where we have temperatures in the 40s. And it is the further north you go, you are going to see cooler conditions for the day today with a lot of clouds around. We will also be tracking a few spot showers and sprinkles that will move on through from west to east through the midday hours. And most of the area should stay dry. It is going to be cool and the further north and east you go as we will see winds on shore. That means highs today in the Merrimack Valley into parts of New Hampshire getting stuck in the 50s. The further south you go south of the weather boundary is when we will be tapping into the low to middle 60s. Parts of western mass could be near 70. So all of us have a shot at 70 heading our way tomorrow. We will talk about that warmup and risk of showers and timing coming up. A check of your traffic with julie. A new York City Police officer was killed in the line of duty. The officer was shot in the head during a chase and gunfight in east harlem. 33yearold randolph holder was chase chasing a man who had stole anne bike when he was shot. Other officers shot the suspect in the legs and arrested him. He was a fiveyear veteran of the force and a Third GenerationPolice Officer who emigrated from africa. Mayor diblasio said the department is trying to cope with this loss. Sadness. A woman they are searching for. Sara meade 33 years old from brunswick maine. She is travelling with her 5yearold son and police say she has been missing since yesterday morning and may have disappeared against her will. Right now, we know that meade is said to be driving a blue 1999 volvo with maine registration 1637sv. That s you can v was last spotted here in westford around 9 30 last night. Police around the country have been notified by meade and Westford Police posted on facebook asking anyone who may have seen this blue suv to call their local police department. David matterson was arrested yesterday charged with two Sexual Assaults. He is due in court on the island. One was 2008 from Bartlett Road and another from last year on rogers lane. They say they have five or six open cases that matterson may be connected to. As part of the investigation, officers asked 100 men on island with jamaican heritage to submit dna samples. A local doctor is accused of trying to take pictures of a woman in a bathroom at umass medical school. Dr. Marcus cooper is on administrative leave. The incident happened last month. She saw a shadow and a cam ro phone lens. She chased the man who later surrenders to police. The doctor will be arraigned in december. The search is on for a man who assaulted a Bridgewater State freshman. The 18yearold female victim met him on the social media app kick and arranged to meet him near the Campus Center monday night. The attack allegedly happened on the other side of campus. Students are suspicious of social media apps like the one the victim used. I think that just exposes, like, the dangers of social media. You dont really know who you are talking to or who you are late the app itself is kind of scary to me. A little bit sketchy. I personally would never use anything like that. A sad modernday version instead of robbing banks seeking thrills, they are hitting up these places to get cash to feed a heroin addiction and police do believe they could be on their way home to massachusetts. I want to you show you their pictures because police need your help finding these two people. They are 37yearold joseph carrier and his wife jennifer carrier. They are wanted tore three bank robbery robberies at this point. Police say joseph gives the teller a note and implies he is armed while jennifer drives the getaway car. The first one happened on september 28 in western mass in ludlow. Two weeks later a bank in palm coast florida and four day office that another bank in aberdeen, maryland. A Ludlow Police detective tells fox25 by phone they have connections to western mass, as well as here in quincy. These two are so desperate that once they run out of money, they become so sick, that they will do whatever purchase more heroin, which seems to be bank robbery is their method of doing that. Reporter police say the couple was last seen driving a stolen suv, a 2015 buick encore chocolate in color and a massachusetts dealer plate 265 massachusetts dealer plate 265s. And it also needs to be added that police say the couple is driving in that stolen suv with seven dogs. If you know anything about where they might be, call police. Police arrested john miller of allegedly trying to sell a rifle, a shotgun and three rounds of ammunition to an undercover officer. It happened at the holiday inn on highwood drive. Miller did not have a license to carry the weapons. This Morning Police are searching for suspects in the shooting of a teenager in New Hampshire. The 18yearold was shot around 8 00 near gil stadium in manchester. He was rushed to a local hospital. No word on his condition this morning. Police tell us this he do not believe this was a random shooting. A group of armed men accused of terrorize accused of terrorizing a worcester family still on the loose this morning. Seven men with guns forced their way into a home on circuit avenue east. Two men in the house were pepper sprayed and tied up. A woman and two young girls were locked in a bedroom while the suspects ransacked the house. The robbers stole cash and other valuables. The new guidelines recommend that women wait until 45 to get the screening only the screening and only have the mammogram once every two years when they turn 55. Survivor Lindsey Mclaughlin said doctors told her to wait when she discovered she had a lump at age of 28. She pushed for an early mammogram and that saved her life. They said i was very lucky to find it early. If i would have waited and they said you are too young, just wait. Things would have been different. Some spots already in the lower 60s. That is our average high. Sun rise this morning shortly after 7 00 and sunset is getting earlier and earlier 5 5 getting earlier and earlier 5 53. Now temperature in boston, 58 degrees. And we are supposed to be in the 40s this time of year. One thing we will notice is the wind is late right now and will stay light through the interior stay light through the interior. As we head on throughout day, we will notice an onshore. Temperatures around the region. 50s for the most part. 40s for the north and west. 60s on the vineyard and nantucket. Watching a few sprinkles and a few spot showers. More raindrops on the way for the west and we will be tracking those as they push eastward into the morning and into the early afternoon. We get stuck in the 50s through the day, because we are going to be dealing with an onshore wind and on the cooler side of a weather boundary that is going to be pushing southward through the region. Despite the cloud cover, i want to point out, there could be some breaks in the clouds too today. More clouds than we saw yesterday with the risk of that stray shower. So temperatures today will be ranging anywhere from the 50s to the mid60s. I dont expect those winds to be as gusty as they were. In track, as you travel northward through the Merrimack Valley into essex county, southeastern New Hampshire. Notice we have those temperatures in the 50s besides breaks in the cloud cover. That wind off of the water keeping conditions coolest. Now down across the southeast, winds will be very light and variable, and in fact we will see temperatures warm up into the low to middle 60s. Again, some breaks in the cloud cover as we head on through the day. Taking a look at the satellite clouds. Also some of those showers, more showers out to the west already but cool to the north of this boundary. A little mild to the south and we will waif this boundary actually dip southward through the Morning Hours. So thats why areas just north are going to be dipping into that cooler air. While parts of connecticut, as well as western mass, going to see temperatures get into the upper 60s to near 70s. Right around lunch hour, we will be watching for any of those showers during the afternoon. Afternoon. We will continue to see the showers drape across the region. This boundary will shift northward for the day tomorrow. And all of us will be tapping into the mild air with clouds and fog and breaks in the cloud cover and boosts of temperatures near 7. This afternoon we will keep an eye out because it will bring a risks are of showers and rumble of showers through the Morning Hours before this front finally clears. As it does so, a return to cool and breezy conditions on friday, but, hey, brings the sunshine too. It is going to drop back into the 20s and 30s by the time you wake up saturday morning.
