"it's going to allow for more social rumors, more social widespread anger and discontent with law enforcement. we're going to put out that an officer was involved in a shooting in wherever and so you're going to have people making comments and re-tweeting and posting and all this stuff before they even know what happened."civil rights lawyer jeff blackburn argues, however the app is a step toward more transparency. should be more background information included. "we have a process that we have to go through and that is to go to the grand jury. we're not going to open up everything right away, but we're going to send it through the proper and legal channels. once that's done, we'll answer questions. we'll give people the information that they're asking for. it's not something that we've ever tried to hide or anything. i'm not sure exactly what this is going to accomplish in amarillo." "the learn, the better off as citizens we become. that's restocking after the storm! how a local business cashed in during the grocery store rush. "it was found at two different locations in the city of milwaukee. that's all i can say right now." there's no doubt this story has been a you slice it.. or cut it! with ingredients like roasted hazelnuts and cocoa, the delicious taste of nutella takes pancakes to a whole new level. one local milk supplier is keeping busy in the wake of the snow storm, refilling the shelves of stores they supply. homestead creamery says their customers are still playing catchup after the holidays...and with the storm...they couldn't keep eggs and milk in stock.they increased milk production by 20 percent to try and fill the need. even though the storm is over, the creamery is still as busy as ever. after the storm, everyone is empty and and everybody needs to be filled back up so, you know, sales will be back up another week and then we may see a little bit of a leveling off." they say a couple of delivery trucks couldnt make runs last week because of the weather, but did get through on monday. 70-thousand dollars worth of cheese stolen from a truck in wisconsin.it's the second big jenna sachs explains... are trying to find a connection between the two heists. "it was found at two different locations in the city of milwaukee. that's all i can say right now."no arrests have been made, but germantown police are now in contact with law enforcement in marshfield, wisconsin.police there are investigating 90-thousand dollars worth of cheese -- stolen back on january 15th -- when someone loaded 40-pound blocks of parmesan onto a semi. "it's kind of shocking, because all of these cheese makers are family-owned businesses."the manager at milwaukee's wisconsin cheese mart has been wondering if any of their suppliers are affected. "it almost seems like it's a bunch of cowboys out there, trying to steal cheese."kelley cramer says be hard to resell, but what really grates him is that even if the cheese is recovered, it's a total loss. "there's no way to resell it, and it kind of stinks." police say once the lock is cut on the trailer the cheese can't be resold.insurance may cover the losses as well. it may take a little manuevering, but this igloo has everything you need to get with a hot price tag attached! brandon thinks hellmann's is heaven in a jar. that's because our ingredients come from... farmers committed to responsibly sourced oils... blended with ingredients like cage-free eggs. mmm. heaven. real ingredients. that's how we're working to some new york residents built an igloo during this weekend's blizzard and advertised it as a "boutique winter igloo for two". but it wasn't listed for long! katie lusso has more. "if you do have to leave in those early morning hours, is just, you know, travel below the speed limit, at a safe speed, because you really can't see black ice, and if you do hit it, and you're going at the speed limit or above, there's a chance you might slide off the roadway, hit another vehicle." state police suggest-- waiting until temperatures are above freezing before driving - if possible. another warning from virginia state police as well this morning.this is what can happen when snow falls off the top of a vehicle!officers say always make sure you clean off the top of your car completely highway! frontal boundary shifts east today with high pressure moving overhead by thursday morning. a trough will slide by thursday nightwith a reinforcing shot of cold air. high pressure builds in friday through the weekend as temperatures moderate above normal. during this recent snow during this during this recent snow storm many people used their time to relax and enjoy a day off. others used it as an opportunity to help!here at wfxr news we are calling those who went above and beyond our storm heroes. our first hero is 13 year kenneth...over the uncle daniel went to the hunting hills area in south roanoke to help shovel driveways for those who needed the hand. kenneth says he just thought it was a nice thing to do plus it's a good form of exercise. now he's going to encourage his friends to get involved as well. the people in hunting hills say it's just amazing seeing a kid working so hard.
