charged in a 15-year-old's murder is free on bond. and his boyfriend who pulled judge waiting to see a judge. julie, deputies say the girl led deputies to her boyfriend. >> reporter: deputies told us that the girlfriend wasn't there at the time of the shooting but she had close contact with her boyfriend who is now a murder suspect. >> do you have anything to say to the man that you shot accidentally. >> reporter: eyewitness news was the only crew there when mike enanderson was taken to jail friday afternoon. deputies say anderson shot antwan davis in the high when anderson met him to buy marijuana early sunday morning. >> we know this won't bring antwan back but we hope this news will bring a measure of comfort to his family. >> reporter: deputies say they first arrested anderson's girlfriend, lindsey shirley, friday morning and charged her with being an accessory after investigators say she led them to anderson who deputies found hiding in the woods. records we dug up shows that anderson has been arrested half a dozen times since last year. his criminal past shows burglary, grand theft and aggravated battery. the sheriff's office told us it will be up to the state attorney's office to determine if he will be charged as an adult or juvenile. julie solomon, eyewitness news this morning. deputies say 21-year-old ward who you see here was fighting with his girlfriend at the magnolia court apartment complex yesterday and pulled out a gun. they say he was working to shoot his girlfriend but the bulleted missed her and hit an innocent man working on a cases of the virus throughout florida. this puts the virus on a list of diseases that could be added to a program that would allow companies to get vaccines approved faster. bill nelson cosponsored looking for the people involved in a school. this person captured the fight that happened earlier this week. since then several other videos been posted on social media. the aunt told us that adults hours ago. this is due to a huge system out in the panhandle right now. of the woods until afternoon tomorrow. ahead of it, thunderstorms develop. along the front, we will see showers and storms develop tomorrow. so temperatures are in the 60s right now. it is mild and it is comfortable. as we head into the next 48 hours, we're going to see a huge temperature swing as we head back into normal temperatures. it's going to be later on this afternoon that storms develop throughout the afternoon and then turn scattered as we head overnight tonight and late into our evening. future track 9 is showing us the story nicely. there's the storms punching in already at 1:00 this afternoon. once we head into that 3:00 to 5:00 time frame, scattered thunderstorms across the region. by the time we is confident that harbor house will get through this. a man who drove his truck into a group of people on horseback will spend the next five years in prison. r. todd intentionally drove his truck into a group after an argument with riders. one of the horses was killed. one admitted to using a racial slur before it happened. prosecutors wanted todd to serve ten years but the owner of the horse says were part of a group who knew the children were exposed to a sexual predator and didn't do anything. two men in brevard county are facing felony charges after local business owners used a gps tracker to help police track them down. cocoa police say yesterday the two stole two pickup trucks from a construction business on industry road. the trucks were equipped with the gps tracker. police tracked down richards in this wooded area off of state root 524. a police dog led them to the second suspect. a warning against sea world's decision to stop breeding the whales. reproduction is an animal right. cycle and well being of any species. since sea world owns the orcas, they say they will comply. a jury has awarded $115 million to hulk hogan in a sex tape lawsuit against the website gawker. the jury reached the decision last night less than six hours after they began deliberations. they found the website to be in the wrong for posting a sex tape of hulk hogan in 2012 without his consent. the trial never conclusively determined who leaked the video. right now, a 17-year-old accused of killing another teenager is in jail. next, why the suspect shouldn't have been outside in the first lot of clouds and rain and storms pushing in as we head into the day. we can see some showers starting to form in portions of there's a lot. if you look out to the gulf, that still has to come in as we move into the day today. keying in on that region for you, we can see that we have just got light rainfall heading from 528 up into ovito. late rainfall for now but we will see isolated shower action throughout the morning. it's not until after 1:00, 2:00 this afternoon that we start to pick up on the widespread showers and storms. 11th straight day in the 80s. guess what on our last day of winter today, we will hit the 80s again. it will be the last until a big cold front moves through tomorrow and brings our temperatures to an seasonably cool levels. believe it or not, spring starts tomorrow. >> wow. an 18-year-old charged in connection with the murder of a 15-year-old is out on jail on bond and her boyfriend is accused of pulling the trigger. julie is live at the jail. julie, he wasn't even supposed to be outside when the shooting happened. >> reporter: he was on community supervision which means he really wasn't supposed to go anywhere besides school or work. eyewitness news was there as deputies take michael anderson to jail late friday afternoon. he is accused of shooting 15- year-old antwan davis in the head last weekend and leaving him on a sidewalk in ocoee. marijuana. anderson's girlfriend, 18-year- old lindsey shirley, friday morning and charged her with being an accessory after the fact and am entering with evidence in the case. investigators say she led them to anderson, who deputies found hiding in the woods. >> we know this won't bring antwan back but we hope this news will bring a measure of comfort to his family as they prepare for his funeral. >> reporter: court records show anderson was only supposed to be at school or work because a court put him under community supervision until he turned 19. records we found show he had been arrested at least half a dozen times since last year. he had several felony charges for burglary, grand theft, and and the sheriff's office told us it will be up to the state attorney's office to decide if anderson will be charged as a juvenile or adult. county, julie solomon, two men accused of taking a joy ride on a lifeguard's jet ski are set to face a judge today. beach patrol officials say an attendant had mechanical issues and left the jet scheme a few minutes later, the two hopped on it and sped off. police followed them along the shoreline until they took the jet ski back to shore. we will be in touch with fire crews in brevard county today to find out if anyone was hurt in a boat fire. it happened around 8:30 last night. still not clear how it all started. the fire marshall is investigating which is routine. right now, a new father is in critical condition after he was accidentally shot while working at an apartment complex. orange county deputies say it happened when a man started shooting at his girlfriend during an argument. kimberly spoke to the suspect who had a message for the innocent victim. >> i feel sorry for the person i shot. >> do you have anything to say >> what about his newborn child. >> i'm sorry. >> reporter: ward is accused of attempted murder. orange county deputies say he pulled a gun on his girlfriend during a fight outside of the apartments but when he fired, he hit an innocent bystander. a worker fixing a fence on the other side of the parking lot. >> we care about him deeply. and, you know, you never think this would happen. >> reporter: the owner of the fence company told eyewitness news that the victim and his brother were working together when he was hit by the stray bullet. >> the brothers were working together today. and he is the one who saved his life. >> reporter: the victim is in the hospital in critical condition with his family and four-day-old baby by his side. deputies tell me that the bullet hit him in the torso. >> we just want him to be okay. >> reporter: as for the shooter, he is in an orange county jail. ward is a convicted felon with a history of gun crimes. for, so if the judge grants him bond on eyewitness news at noon. firefighters are trying to figure out why there is an increase in brush fires. firefighters have responded to more than 100 calls since january. investigators say they cannot say right now whether someone intentionally set the fires. >> nobody gets the lots trimmed back or anything else either. so it's easy if something lights on fire and it's close to your house, it's difficult to keep it back. >> palm bay fire rescue is working with police and forestry officials to coordinate response to the fires. firefighters are still trying to figure out what started this massive fire that destroyed a cocoa beach landmark. we told you about the pumpkin center fire friday. it was in the process of being the teenager accused of running over an orange county deputy with a stolen car is being charged as an adult. 15-year-old john carlos ortiz intentionally hit sergeant marcie pierce and then took off. she was trying to arrest him on burglary charges. pierce is still recovering but plans to return to work. ortiz is now being held on no bond. lake county sheriff borders is retiring and will not seek re-election. he has been lake county sheriff since 2006. he will retire next january. he has served the community for more than 36 years. some government wash dogs are throwing their support behind the new state budget. the budget includes money for roads, cultural projects, health care and law enforcement programs. $2billion in tax cuts governor rick scott lobbied for is not in the budget but he also vetoed more than $256 working to figure out what caused a fish kill along the island. look at this video from harbor town marina. 100 dead puffer fish lined the shore out of the water there. wildlife officials believe it becoming isolated tonight and sunday morning. the actual front pushes through tomorrow. that will bring us scattered showers and thunderstorms as we head into sunday afternoon and evening as well. it's not until tomorrow night that we kick the system out of here and usher in the much cooler air behind it. we might see gustier winds and small hail as well. of course i will be here at noon tracking the beginning of those storms and george waldenberger will be in at 6:00. downtown orlando hour by hour, the clouds increase throughout the morning. by noon we will be at 80, starting to see teenager is accused of killing another teenager. how deputies say they finally caught the couple. authorities are now working to bring the accused mastermind of the paris terrorist attacks back to france. this dramatic raid with police just before he was caught. it is saturday, march 19th. i'm daralene jones. time is 8:00. we will have more on your top stories in a minute. first here is a live look outside over downtown orlando this morning. take a look to the left. several folks already out and about on i-4 this morning. meteorologist marina jurica is in severe weather center 9. unfortunately it's not going to showers and thunderstorms developing already out to our west in the gulf. as you can see nicely on early warning doppler 9. we have seen isolated showers this morning. mainly dry until the midday. and that's when the big changes come. we are in the 60s. so it's very mild out there right now. heading into the afternoon, low to mid 80s. last day in the 80s as the front approaches and we see a 50% rain chance. i will track that hour by hour coming up in the next 30 minutes. definitely throw an umbrella in the back seat. you might need it off and on today. darlene. >> a teenage girl charged in a 15-year-old's murder is free on bond and her boyfriend is now waiting to see a judge. eyewitness news julie solmone reports that the girlfriend led deputies to his boyfriend. >> reporter: sheriffs deputies say the girlfriend was not shooting but she was in close contact with the suspect. >> do you have anything to say to the man that you shot. >> reporter: eyewitness news was the only crew there when orange county deputies take murder suspect michael anderson to jail late friday afternoon. investigators say anderson shot 15-year-old antwan davis in the head when davis met anderson to buy some marijuana on a sidewalk in ocoee early sunday morning. >> we know this won't bring antwan back. we hope this news will bring a measure of comfort to his family. >> reporter: deputies said they first arrested anderson's girlfriend, 18-year-old lindsey shirley, friday morning and charged her with being an accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence in this case. investigators say she led them to anderson, who deputiesed found hiding in the woods. records we dug up show anderson has been arrested half a dozen times since last year. his criminal past shows several battery. the sheriff's office says it will be up to the state attorney's office to determine if anderson will be charged as a juvenile or adult. eyewitness news this morning. >> in the next two hours, the man orange county deputies say shot a new father is expected to appear in court. deputies say 21-year-old ward who you see here was fighting with his girlfriend at the complex yesterday and pulled out a gun. they say he was trying to shoot his girlfriend, but the bullets missed her and hit a man working there on a fence. >> two of the brothers work for us. they're family. i just want them to be okay. i don't care about anything else. >> ward is facing an attempted murder charge. the owner of the fence company says the victim is in a local hospital in critical condition. the accused mastermind of the deadly paris terrorist attacks could soon return to france. chuck reports that the suspect was caught during a dramatic raid in belgium. >> reporter: explosions and gunfire ripped through a brussels street. s.w.a.t. teams focusing in on the man in the hooded sweatshirt dragged out by police and placed into a car wounded. >> he was slightly injured at his leg during the intervention. >> reporter: the 26-year-old was the only survivor of the group of terrorists who carried out the highly coordinated paris attack that claimed 130 lives. a french citizen raised in belgium, he rented the car that drove a team of suicide bombers to a cafe next to the soccer stadium. he also dropped off more isis performing. then he disappeared. until four months later. alex marquart reporting this from brussels. >> the fugitive was hiding out right here, captured just yards from his family home. >> the united states intelligence officials have been working closely with french and belgium national security officials since november. >> reporter: the capture is seen as a victory against isis. abc news new york. the president of france has called for immediate extradition so the suspect can face trial. new from overnight, russian officials say the pilot tried to land a boeing 737 jet before it crashed and killed everyone on board. this is video of the airport where officials say the plane crashed. officials say the flight was coming from dubai and headed to russia. 55 people were on board. there's no word on what caused the crash. will become the first sitting president to visit cuba in 90 years. the president will celebrate his decision to work toward normalizing relations with cuba. the first family, including their daughters, will spend two days in cuba. they are expected to tour landmarks and have dinner with president castro. president obama will give a speech that will be broadcast live on cuban tv. there's awe any bill in the works that could help companies develop a vaccine for the zika virus faster. there are 67 cases of zika in florida. it is on a list of diseases that can be added to a program that allows companies to get vaccines approved faster. bill nelson cosponsored the bill that would give the companies incentives. >> you could get quite a few drug companies working on this, all of which could come up with person captured the fight that happened earlier this week. since then, several other videos have been posted on social media. one of the teenagers involved told us that adults showed up to the fight and joined in instead of trying to stop it. >> you have grown women kicking her in the face. i mean, i -- it's hard to watch. >> it is awful. police say at least four juveniles and one adult will likely face charges. they put more officers at the school to prevent another fight from happening. orange county school administrators say more middle school once students return from spring break stemming from this fight automate land middle school. the same thing is happening at lockhart middle school. parents say they are having trouble getting answers from school leaders about what is being done to stop it. >> even when you make it clear that you're not satisfied with the school's response, they and that's not right. administrators told us that they're monitoring minor discipline issues at the school. seminole county deputies are trying to track down the driver who they say hurt a deputy. investigators say the deputy pulled over a man on lake mary boulevard yesterday and when a deputy tried to force him out of the car, the driver grabbed his arm. the deputy pulled his arm back and shattered the window and the person drove off. the deputy had minor cuts. drivers who take i-4 and maitland will have to plan for a detour. this weekend, the ramp to i-4 part of the i-4 ultimate construction project. the ramp will reopen monday morning at 6:00. yesterday, we told you crews also shut down the ramp from orange avenue to 408 westbound for the next three years. new this morning, the international space station has three new crew members including a nasa astronaut. this is jeff williams and two russian cosmonauts. they blasted off last night. by the end of his six-month mission, williams will hold the american record for the most days in space, with 534 days over the course weekend for it because the cold front is approaching and it is shoving showers and thunderstorms in it will be a bit touch and go today and tomorrow. for this weekend, we have a high rip current risk. you want to make sure that you swim near the lifeguard station. the beaches will be busy as we officially kick off spring break this weekend. it will be tough because the thunderstorms will push in later on this afternoon. seas at three to four feet with a moderate chop today. in ocala, a good chance for showers this morning. then we will be looking at a better chance for thunderstorms later on this afternoon. in celebration and the i-4 corridor, we will have a sunny start. then the clouds will increase and we will see a chance for showers at the midday and a better chance for storms after until 5:00, 6:00, we will see the storms and they become scattered tonight into early sunday morning. at 3:00, it moves in with scattered showers and storms until it finally kicks out by 7:00, leaving us with a gorgeous start to the workweek. it's not fantastic timing. we have a whole bunch of events. we want to make sure that we download our weather app so that throughout the entire day, you can stay ahead of that storm. so our average high this time of year is 78. we will be in the 80s for one more day today. then the temperatures take a nose dive for a few days into the low 70s for the says the lawsuit could cost harbor house $200,000 plus attorney fees. harbor house is in the middle of building a new facility named for john more gone who has donated more than $1 million to the nonprofit. >> if the perception by the public is that the money is going to a lawsuit or lawyers or for whatever, money can dry up. >> morgan also said this could end up like a divorce where no one wins. the mayors of orange county and orlando are both involved with harbor house. orange county mayor theresa jacobs has a domestic violence task force. the cochair says he is get past this. a man who drove his truck into a group of people on horseback will spend the next five years in prison. christopher todd intentionally drove his truck into the group after an argument with the riders. one of the horses was killed. the group admitted it using a racial slur before it happened. one horse rider was also hurt. prosecutors wanted todd to serve ten years in prison but the owner of the horse says she is satisfied with the sentence. >> i believe in second chances. we can't bring back what happened that night or change it. >> todd will also have to pay $7,500 worth of medical bills and compensation for the owner of the horse. hulk hogan just got $115 million from the website gawker. a jury reached the decision last night, less than six hours after they began deliberations. the website posted a sex tape the trial never conclusively determined though who leaked the video. a european zoo in charge of some of sea world's killer whales is warning against the park's decision to stop them from breeding. reproduction is an animal right. they say stopping it is against the life cycle and well being of any species. since sea world owns the orcas, they say they will comply. more than 2,000 people in orlando earn their income through the film industry. film tax break incentives expired last week. and the pool of money to lure film makers to florida will be gone by the summer. weapon 3. last week florida's program to to shoot in orlando was not approved by the legislator. john lucks runs a company in orlando that worked on dolphin tale movies. without that break, the work hasn't come. >> it's never been about the studios and the celebrities. it's about the people who pay taxes here and have kids who go to school here. >> reporter: the state lost $650 million in income from films not shot here. much of that involves hotel and restaurant revenue that supports the crew. orlando lost out on 99 homes about the foreclosure crisis in orlando. it was shot instead in new orleans. the majority of orlando's film talent is packed up and headed north to georgia. the peach state offers tax breaks and made $6 billion last year from films. "ant-man" and the walking dead were all shot there. >> it's a business. businesses are going to go where they are supported and where they are wanted. injury, there are 30 schools that get tax money in the state that offer film programs. but those graduates don't stay here. >> our tax paying dollars are going to these colleges and universities to help these students get educated in this industry, when the home caught fire. city hall has been open for those donations. people have dropped off clothing, food and money for the four family members who now have nothing left. >> we have had a lot of charges after local business owners used a gps device to help police find them. william richards and austin stole two pickup trucks from a construction business on industry roads. the trucks were equipped with gps trackers. police tracked down richards in this wooded area. a police dog led them to the second suspect. right now, a 17-year-old accused of killing another teenager is in jail. out of jail on bond, her boyfriend is accused of pulling the trigger. eyewitness news this morning's julie salamone reports he was not supposed to be outside. >> reporter: he was on community supervision meeting he was not supposed to go anywhere besides work and school. eyewitness news was there as deputies took michael anderson to jail friday afternoon. he is accused of shooting 15- year-old antwan davis in the head last weekend and leaving him on a sidewalk in ocoee. investigators say davis met anderson to buy some marijuana. deputies say anderson's girlfriend, 18-year-old, reporting in orange county, julie salomone, eyewitness news this morning. two men accused of taking a joy ride on a daytona beach lifeguards jet ski are set to face a judge. a jet ski attendant had mechanical issues and left the jet ski. a few minutes later, james duffy and andrew gentry hopped on and sped off with it. took it back to shore. we will be in touch with fire crews in brevard county to find out if anyone was hurt in a boat fire that happened around the causeway at 8:30 last night. the state marshall is investigating which is routine. a new father is in critical condition after he was accidentally shot while working at an apartment complex. orange county deputies say it happened when a man started during an argument. eyewitness news this morning's dupuy eaton spoke with the suspect who says he is sorry for the victim. >> i'm sorry to the victim. >> reporter: 21-year-old jakell ward is accused of attempted murder. orange county deputies that he pulled a gun on his girlfriend during a fight outside the magnolia court apartment but when he fired he hit an innocent bystander, a worker fixing a fence on the other >> we care about it deeply. >> reporter: the owner of the complex told eyewitness news the victim and his brother were working together when he was hit by a stray bullet. ryan hixson says the victim is in the hospital in critical condition with his family and four-day-old baby by his side. deputies tell me the bullet hit him in the torso. as for the shooter, he is in orange county jail. a search of his rap sheet show he is a convicted felon with a history of gun crimes. >> this is so uncalled for and dangerous. >> kimberly eaton, eyewitness news this morning. >> we will continue to check in on the victims condition throughout the weekend. jakell ward is scheduled to face a judge today, will let you know if he is granted bond. palm bay firefighters are figuring out why there has been an increase in brushfires. firefighters have responded to more than 100 calls since january. investigators say they cannot intentionally set the fires. >> nobody keeps their lots trimmed back or anything else either. it's pretty easy if something lights on fire and it's that close to your house, it's difficult to keep it back. >> palm bay fire rescue is working with police and forestry officials to coordinate response to fires. meanwhile, firefighters are trying to figure out what sparked this fire that destroyed this cocoa beach land plot. this was the former home of usa today founder, al newhart. the teenager accused of running over a deputy with a stolen car will be charged as an adult. 15-year-old john carlos ortiz who you see here hit sergeant marcy pierce, then took off. she was trying to arrest him on plans to return to work. ortiz is held on no bond. lake county sheriff gary borders is calling it quits, retiring, and will not seek reelection. he has been the lake county sheriff since 2006. he will retire next january. he served the community for more than 36 years. government watchdogs are throwing their support behind a new state budget. it includes money for roads, cultural projects, healthcare and law enforcement programs. $2 billion in tax cuts governor rick scott lobbied for in the budget were not included. he also vetoed more than $256 million in the budget. >> you can't have the government following a budgetary process, it's fair to all floridians particularly the hard-working taxpayers of florida. >> this is the largest budget in florida's history. gas station owners could soon be showers through the morning, now the bulk of it is moving into the gulf and will be here in the next couple of hours. we are looking at showers and thunderstorms as we move into the afternoon, then scattered into the evening. mid to low 80s for the highs today. from west to east in the villages, showers this morning. best chance for thunderstorm action will come later after 4:00. looking at downtown orlando and the i-4 corridor, anytime in the afternoon is fair game to go. in cocoa beach, a sunny start the chance for showers and noon. the u.s. inspector general says parents are telling children to fake disabilities costing taxpayers money. security administration approved an unknown number of disability payments for in one case, a man got $77,000 for all eight of his children. only some of them are disabled. >> there are going to be children who might not ever access to services because someone is lying. >> government officials say they will crack down on this congress has not given the agency enough money to complete timely reviews. it has been two years since the start of major renovations at fashion square mall in orlando but the property still looks like this. we asked why construction is at a standstill. ormer apopka city administrator is collecting two pensions from the city while working as it took dozens of prototypes. painstaking craftsmanship. and an infinite administrator is collecting two richard anderson will receive $10,000 a month from the pension fund. 9 investigates asked the mayor why the city allowed something even the state has banned. >> reporter: richard anderson is collecting what he has earned after more than 40 years with the city of apopka, most of the time with the fire department, then city administrator. he is the only former employee collecting two pensions, totaling over $4000 a month. >> pensions are obligations of the funds, not the city's budget. >> reporter: the city has three different pension funds for general service employees, police and fire. we checked with other major cities throughout florida. in theory, orlando police and fire employees could collect a second pension. in jacksonville and tampa, it isn't allowed at all. in 2010, florida stopped retired employees from earning a second pension. not allow employees to do this, why should it be allowed in the city? >> it's a one-of-a-kind situation and i think as apopka moves forward, grows and becomes a bigger city, i don't think we are going to see something like this happen again. >> reporter: anderson is paid $22,000 a month to work as the city's consultant and lobbyists. it was a last-minute deal brokered as he retired in 2014. the mayor credits anderson with developing a downtown deal still being worked out but required monthly reports 9 investigates show due in and state records, easily accessible online, joe anderson did not register as a lobbyist for apopka until this year. >> if you haven't asked him to lobby for anything on the state level, should you, in fact, be paying him thousands of dollars to be the city's lobbyist? >> it's a contract that we negotiated and each of us are trying to live up to our contract. >> so you're stuck. >> a contract is a contract. collect both pensions until he dies. one pension will drop a few he reaches social security age. he also received a lump sum check of $70,000 since he had delayed filing his second pension. a central florida man is fed up with text messages from a restaurant that he filed a class-action lawsuit claiming the fast food chain violated the telephone consumer protection act. he says he never signed up for fast food offers, never provided a phone number and has not eaten there since 2009. governor rick scott says for the 13th year in a wrote the state has had the highest private-sector job growth. yesterday the governor announced florida businesses added more jobs in january than any other state. job creation in the public sector is becoming scattered and overnight into sunday. the actual front makes an appearance as we head into the day tomorrow. this is 4:00, not as widespread but we will see scattered showers and thunderstorm action until it clears by 8:00 or 9:00, leaving us with a beautiful start to the work week. our major hazards today are going to be heavy rain and lightning, we could see gusty winds in excess of 40 miles per hour and small hail but it's going to be mainly a rain and lightning defend as we head into both today and tomorrow. hour by hour downtown orlando, 70s by 7:00, clouds increase and by the afternoon, test popping in as we top out at 83. we will get rain and cooler air as we head into the evening, and then the scattered showers and thunderstorms as we go into tonight and tomorrow morning. we've only got a 40% rain chance overnight tonight with temperatures in the 60s once again. then his body showers and storms tomorrow and behind this front we are so much cooler, upper 40s and humidity returns. two years after a major renovation project was announced for fashion square mall in orlando, the property still looks like this, a mess. eyewitness news this morning anchor, nancy alvarez, tracked down the developer to find out why the project was delayed and what happens next. >> reporter: we are standing along the most visible part of the mall because it faces colonial drive. this is what shoppers and it is still a construction site but there is no work happening. the developer told me work has stopped for now but the plans are still moving forward. charles lebaeto and anne steffan are regulars but have seen a lot of changes. now they are met by this, a construction plan in limbo and on hold. we took their questions to you p development, the company behind the plan, to transform the 44-year-old small and bring a seven-story hotel to the space. >> what may appear like an abandoned construction site is not? >> reporter: it could be another six months to a year. the developer says there is uncertainty over the future of macy's and sears, and there is not a clear site for what is going to happen to the pieces have to work together and plan together. >> reporter: u.p development has already planned $20 million relocation of stores including this dick's sporting goods among others. the company says it is still committed to the mall but for shoppers,
