in cocoa beach. we are dealing with some fog, especially in marion county where it is less than half mile visibility in ocala with a touch of fog along the coastline this morning and in portions of sumpter and lake county. but as we head into the afternoon, it's going to be a perfect day. northeasterly wins about 5 to 15 with highs in the mid- to upper 70s. so make those outdoor plans now. darlene. an orange county teacher says bullying is out of control. 9 investigates first uncovered bullying allegations that two different parents say nearly drove their children to commit suicide. eyewitness news this morning's julie salamone joins us live this morning. julie, the teacher says he's speaking out because he fears for his students' safety. >>reporter: and he told us he and at times he admits he doesn't have control over his own classroom. >> what do i do? >>reporter: this woman broke down in tears last week when she told us her daughter got so sick of bullying she tried to overdose on pills at maitland middle school. >> makes me feel like a failure. >>reporter: just days later, this woman told us her son talked about killing himself because of bullying. a teacher at that school watched those stories. >> i'm afraid i'm going to lose my job by even talking to you about this. >>reporter: that's why we agreed to hide his face and alter his voice. he told us he sees bullying at robinson middle school nearly everyday in his classroom and says it's out of control. >> homophobic slurs to race- based slurs, to fights in the classroom. >>reporter: he says the school isn't clear with how teachers should handle bullying and says the kids know he has little power. but he says things are so bad now he fears some of his students might feel like they have no way out. >> one day i'm just worried to school one day and we'll find out a day or two later that they are not coming back because they're not here anymore. >>reporter: and orange county public school sent us a statement, sent us their bullying policy that reez in part, the parents of the -- that reads in part, the parents of the victim, the school is contacted an the school administration gets staff to have students write statements on anything that they witness. reporting live in orange county, julie salamone, channel 9 eyewitness news this morning. we now know the names of three men accused of pointing a gun at a toddler during a it happened yesterday in the parking lot of the win dixie on howland boulevard in deltona. police say aaron vosh jumped into an suv with two women and a child inside, pointed the gun cash. but the women fought back. investigators say voluntaries got into a pickup truck where they were waiting. the victims chase the truck and the child was not hurt. the minors had -- the victims had minor injuries. extra security on the ucf campus today for the donald trump rally. ucf told us they are treating the rally as they would a football game. other local agencies are also helping out. officials with the trump campaign told us about 20,000 people are expected to attend. hundreds of protesters are also expected outside of the cfe arena. the event starts wftv.com. senator marco rubio is also making a campaign stop in florida today. rubio and new mexico governor susanna martinez are hosting a rally in jacksonville at the morocco shrine auditorium at 2:30 this afternoon. several state lawmakers supporting senator rubio plan to rally here in orlando ahead of trump's campaign stop. dr. ben carson suspended the announcement came after carson skipped thursday's republican debate. carson said he doesn't see a political path forward following super tuesday. and today democrats are facing off in more primaries and caucuses in kansas, louisiana, nebraska and maine and republicans vote in kansas, kentucky, louisiana and maine. democratic candidates hillary clinton and senator bernie sanders will also debate again tomorrow. early voting in florida starts today in seminole, volusia, bre. remember, voters who are already registered democrats or republicans may vote in this primary. we've uncovered some disturbing video showing unsanitary cleaning practices at a disney world resort. an eyewitness recorded this video you see here, an incident at animation resort. you can see a worker used a mo on the floor -- a mop on the floor and then the dining tables. we asked what type of action disney took against this employee. we'll have that part of the story for you in about 10 los angeles police are planning to test a knife that may have been found at o.j. simpson's old home. it was reportedly found back in 1998, three years after he was acquitted in the stabbing deaths of his wife, nicole ron goldman. abc's lauren lister reports, even if it turns out to the murder weapon, simpson still can't be retried. >>reporter: the o.j. simpson trial was settled decades ago, but a new twist. >> race caring an alleged knife that may have been recovered, possibly in connection to the o.j. simpson case. >>reporter: los angeles police department saying the knife was allegedly found by a construction worker on o.j. simpson's property in the late 1990s. the estate was demolished in '98. >> this individual wantd to turn it over to law enforcement. >>reporter: the lapd says this knife is now being carefully scanned for possible dna evidence which could take weeks. an lapd officer, now retired, was allegedly given the knife held onto it for 18 years. >> and having been acquitted -- >>reporter: o.j. simpson was acquitted of murder charges in the 1994 stabbing deaths of nicole brown simpson and her friend ron goldman. simpson continues to claim he's innocent. >> whoa, whoa, slow down here. >>reporter: many tv viewers reliving the whole trial in an fx mini series, "the people versus o.j. simpson." now ron goldman's father talking to the media about this knife. i hope they test it and it turns out to be the weapon. it will be one more nail in simpson's coffin. as for what the new discovery could mean -- >> double jeopardy, he was tried once, he was acquitted. you can never try o.j. simpson again. >>reporter: police say they're still vetting this story. law enforcement sources tell abc news over the years investigators have looked at over 150 knives, none of them found to be the weapon. angeles. police say a preliminary assessment shows it is likely not the murder weapon which may will continue. we're asking state troopers what caused a fatal crash that killed two people. take a look at one of those mangled cars in involved -- involved in that wreck. and if you look to the right of your screen, you can see the other vehicle on its side. this happened last night at in winter garden. two other people an three hospital. no word yet on their conditions. arrested a juvenile in connection with a deadly shooting in winter park. it happened last month near park avenue. police say 24-year-old jordan ingram and 46-year-old frank freeman were killed. a juvenile now faces first- degree murder charges in that case. police have not released any more information at this time. a social media post claims a woman and her daughter were approached by a sex trafficking ring at a target on norfolk parkway in west melbourne. it says a man watched them inside of the store and then another man asked them for help with his car in the parking lot. police in west melbourne and deputies investigated the claims, but they say there is no evidence of a sex trafficking ring operating in this way. one of the people accused of stealing a box of cash from a girl scout is now out of jail. on sunday deputies say nicholas daybrug and his sister ashley winters were caught on a surveillance camera stealing girl scout. it happy at a deltona wal-mart. the siblings turned themselves in on thursday night an faced a judge on friday. winters is out of jail on a $2,500, but debruge is still in custody. opening weekend is finally here for the orlando city soccer club. the team says there are fewer than 5,000 tickets remaining for their season opener tomorrow. yesterday the players had their last practice before the match at the citrus bowl. they also met their new italian mid filter at the airport. he is not expected to play tomorrow, but he will be introduced to fans at today's official pub crawl in with a high of 75 at 4:00 as well. and along the coast in titusville, it'll be very pretty throughout the day with a high of 72 at 2:00. darlene. a disney worker cleaning at a disney world resort was caught on camera mopping the floor, then moments later using the same mop to scrub down dining tables. the answers we got from disney and the action they've now taken. >>reporter: they rented luxury partly cloudy. and throughout the day today we will see a mixture of sun and we are going to see temperatures that will rebound into the upper 70s after our chilly start right now. so let's take a look at the satellite and radar an give you a big board perspective. high pressure is up to our north/northwest, so that's allowing for a northeasterly flow moveing into our area. so it is a chilly start, but 70s returning as we head into the afternoon. current temps right now, our cool spot, 43 in ocala where we're seeing a lot of fog. 52 degrees in the villages. as we move toors the coastline, we're looking -- towards the coastline, we're looking at 54 for titusville, and 53 in downtown orlando. so it has been quite a cooldown over the last 24 hours, up to 14 degrees cooler than yesterday morning at this time. of course we saw that front move through yesterday morning. it gave us a cooler afternoon and we've got another dry front which i'll track for you here in just a moment that's moving in on sunday morning. so calm winds up towards the north. otherwise north/northeasterly wind that is will be 5 to 15 for the rest of the day. cool start, we're warming up. mostly sunny and very comfortable as we head into the afternoon. clear and another cool night into our sunday. next front doesn't move through until we head into tomorrow, but we will see some clouds start to stroll in along the coast as we head in through the day today. there's that frontal system moving in tomorrow morning, and that will allow for temperatures to be just a touch cooler as we head into our sunday afternoon, about 2 degrees as we move into our sunday. so 78 today, 76 tomorrow, and then we really start to see those temperatures rebound as we could be looking at our warmest work week of the week next week that we've seen so far this year. average high is 76, and we'll be at average or above as we head into the stretch. so today we're talking upper 70s, lots of sunshine, very comfortable. 53 darlene. we now know the name of a man who was found dead in an orlando apartment complex. old carlton wilson shot to death thursday at the cypress point apartments on versailles drive. no one else was hurt in the shooting. investigators are still trying to find a suspect and figure out what sparked that shooting. altamonte springs police say they have a person of interest connected to a deadly shooting near seminole state college. police responded to the lotus landing apartments last week. jose gomez was found shot to death on thursday night. police arrested joshua gordon on an unrelate warrant while in a vehicle believed to be connected with that murder. investigators say he is now a person of interest. orange county mayor teresa jacobs said she will not discuss problems with the service. we've told you about trash piling up outside of homes year. residents have also complained about yard waste left behind. fcc which is one of the three companies responsible for trash pickup is behind about half of those issues. mayor jacobs called the problems operational issues. video of unsanitary cleaning practices at a walt disney world resort. take a look at this. we first told you about this story last night on eyewitness news at 11:00. jesse reyes who lives in california and his family stayed at the art of animation resort last month. he took this cell phone video. it shows a member of the cleaning crew there mopping the floor and then, look, she takes the same mop and wiped a dining table at the restaurant. >> just is really disturbing that they're doing something like that and exposing us to diseases. i mean, there's thousands of people that walk those parks a day, so it was just -- it was really disgusting. >> a spokesperson for disney told us the woman is not a cast member and works for a third- party vendor and is no longer welcome on disney property. dozens of our viewers are already reacting to this story on facebook. you can watch and share your views, luxury high rise. the renters say they were charged for someone else's damage. action 9's todd ulrich tracked down the landlord for answers and fine out why renters face a real legal fight. burned for $2,000. >> i really just want justice to be done at this point. >>reporter: both blame this guy, lanlord b.j. komar who does business as view management, llc. before moving in, sandra took pictures and listed rug stains and scratched floors. kept the nearly $2,000 deposit, blaming her for that preexisting damage. >> it's completely false. we did no damages. we actually fixed stuff in the unit. >>reporter: vanessa claims he kept her $2,000 for damages she had documented before moving in. >> it infuriates me every time i think about t. >>reporter: vanessa sued komar in small claims court, but that fail. >> i do have the proof. i just have been unable to get a hold of him to bring him to court. >>reporter: whether it's a luxury condo or modest mobile home, florida's lanlord/tenant law says the landlord has to cause the renter caused the damages if they're withholding the deposit. however, going to court is the only way to enforce that. florida's regulations could cover legal fees >> if you do hire an attorney and you do win, the landlord is going to have to pay for your attorney. >>reporter: b.j. komar controls several units in the view by his new jersey company. by e-mail he said sandra missed a rent payment and caused doing anything wrong with any renter. >> that's our money that he's holding onto. >>reporter: todd ulrich, eyewitness news this offenses. >> if in fact the deputy did -- was untruthful during the course of this, then his credibility will be gone, and he'll have a very difficult time, if not impossible to ever get hired. >> buffington admitted to having an inappropriate relationship. we found out that violates the sheriff's office policy banning employees from having an unprofessional relationship with a coworker's spouse. a man is facing several charges this morning after investigators say he scammed time share own ners kissimmee out of thousands of dollars. the florida department of felicks who you see here told the victims he had a renter for their properties. he would then ask them to send money to cover taxes, but investigators say he just took the money. felix is facing several charges, including grand theft. there are some lane closures for the next several days on the beachline. crews shut down lanes at the toll plaza near orlando international airport on thursday to take down that plaza. there will be at least one lane closure each night until next thursday. closures will be from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. a local teacher says he sees bullying in the classroom almost everyday, but he district headquarters. and, julie, the teacher says he tries to stop the bullying. >>reporter: he says he tries to stop it, but doesn't get very far. and this school doesn't give teachers a clear direction on how to handle bullying. a robinson wood middle school teacher agreed to sit down and speak with us about bullying he sees in his classroom, but we agreed to hide his face and >> i'm salamone, eyewitness news this morning. the wife of an orange county deputy killed in the line of duty is pleading with state lawmakers to help other families in her situation. deputy scott pine was shot and killed two years ago. his widow says his benefits aren't enough for her and their three children. so she's pushing for legislation that would raise benefits for families of first responders to 100% of their income. right now it's only half. >> our children's future should not be a financial struggle because their daddy was a hero sacrifice. >> the florida senate passed the change unanimously, but the house has attached the bill to other provisions the senate for another year. she has not been available corrine brown is the subject of widespread speculation. for weeks we've been asking questions about a so-called charity called one door for education and its ties to the central florida congresswoman. eyewitness news anchor greg warmoth reports one of the people involved in that group has now agreed to a plea deal. >>reporter: we've been uncovering new details on this story for weeks, 9 investigates finding invitations to a golf tournament, inauguration festivities and receptions going back four years, all of them hosted by congresswoman corrine brown. e-mails show her staff was involved in planning or at least aware of the happenings. we recently showed what we uncovered to former federal prosecutor brian phillips. >> the thing that particularly jumped out at me was the large volume of uses of the congressional seal on what looks like non-official congressional correspondence. >>reporter: now this news, carla wiley, the head of one door cut a deal to fill in the blanks in the case and will soon tell investigators where all the money raised by one wiley, along with two other people who were only listed in the plea deal as a public official and a person who works for that public official are implicated in raising $800,000, paying out only one scholarship for just $1,000, and then withdrawing $290,000 using that money for personal expenses. one door called itself a opportunities. also according to the plea, that same public official received $150,000 from one door for costs associated with events, including money for a cake and alcoholic beverages. greg warmoth, eyewitness news this morning. >> a reporter from our sister station in jacksonville tweeted out that she called congresswoman corrine brown last night for comment and she hung up on her. there could soon be a shakeup in eustis over a city commissioner's new house. right now city leaders are working on an ordinance that would require elected officials to live in city limits during the issue was brought up by commissioner bill brat who is in the process of building a new home just outside of the city. it is eligible to be annexed into the city, but he says he doesn't want that which means he would have to resign. also in lake county, two parents are facing child neglect charges after their 2- year-old suffered a broken rib, a broken leg and 15 fractures. curtice and tracy cocoa beach who you see here were arrested on thursday. officials say the couple says their injuries come from their other three children rough housing with the child. the couple is also charged with failure to report child abuse. they have bonded out of jail. altamonte springs city leaders have set aside close to half a million dollars to partner with ride share company uber and a one-year pilot program. starting march 21st, the city will pay 20% of a ride that starts and ends within city limits. they'll pay 25% of a ride that starts and ends at the city's sunrail station. we spoke with an uber driver who said it's a win-win for >> it's a no-brainer. the construction project. starting monday garland avenue from colonial drive to just shut down for more than a year. crews will be out there building bridge. they're also building on a ramp there from colonial drive onto i-4. >> we're reconstructing this entire corridor. state road 50 is a huge arterial road for i-4, so this big road meets up with another huge interstate, so we have to make sure we residents, telling them they owe money to a check cashing company. and if they don't pay up, they'll be arrested. if this has happened to you, you're asked to contact orlando police. police want to remind you they would never demand money from you, especially over the phone. the federal trade commission is now saying they're trying to keep hackers away by changing your password could actually make it easier for them. experts say if you change your password often, you're more similar to your old password so it's easy to remember. they say having to come up with a strong password gets harder comfortable. our dewpoints are really low and that's how it's going to stay throughout the entire weekend. satellite and radar this morning showing a few clouds in our southern counties. so that's why we're seeing the foggier conditions in our northern counties which i will show you those numbers here in just a minute. but high pressure is up to our north, so it's allowing for a northeasterly wind today 5 to 15. it's a chilly start burks those 70s are going to be returning as we head into the afternoon. so our thickest fog which has improved greatly over the last 60 minutes is in ocala. that was half mile or less visibility just about 30 minutes ago, now it's at five miles. that's where we're seeing the thickest fog and the clearest and coolest temperatures. 52 in ocala, 52 in the villages, 53 in downtown orlando, 57 palm coast and 62 is the hot spot in cocoa beach. so we're cooling down this morning, believe it or not. we are up to 14 degrees cooler than we were on friday morning. we saw that weak cold front move through yesterday, and then we've got another dry cold front moving through tomorrow, and that will reenforce some so we're going to see a little bit of cloud coverage across the coastline today than our inland counties. our next front slides in on sunday. it is dry, which is good and relatively weak, but it will drop our temperatures down by a couple degrees as we head into our sunday afternoon and monday morning. but next week we're talking the warmest weather of the year so far. we are going to be in the mid- to upper 80s starting on wednesday through friday. so it'll be our first touch as we head into spring of summer preview. so hour by hour in downtown orlando, by after 10:00 we'll be in the 60s, by noon a nice comfortable 72 degrees. so after a chilly start, we'll warm up very nicely. and you can see partly cloudy skies that will start to move in as we head into the afternoon. overall lots of sunshine and we'll be in the mid- to upper 70s for our highs this afternoon which will feel great. so overnight tonight we're going to see another cool morning into our sunday. a lot of 40s and low feafs. then as we move into our monday morning, we're going to start to trend that warmup and that warmup will last for the rest five-day forecast with your weekend always in view, showing that we will see that cool front move through as pickup trucks. 33 complaints have been made to the national highway traffic safety administration about the problem, including reports of the brake pedal not functioning properly. ford drivers reported crashes caused by this issue. other reports have been made about the brake fluid leaking. investigators are still trying to determine if a recall is necessary. six sports authority stores in central florida will close their doors and will now hold a liquidation sale. this is a list of the stores impacted in our area. bankruptcy and will close 140 stores nationwide. the company says
