police say nearly 300 people were in this popular nightclub when this took place. >> reporter: that is right. they are currently searching for three suspects at this time. take a look behind me. you can see crime scene tape in this parking lot. we were here as several vehicles were towed away. investigators tell me this all happened right here behind those two doors you are looking at -- inside. >> cell phone video captured by clubgoers standing at the entrance of glitz ultra lounge show the chaotic scene as people ran out of the nightclub after shots rang out. >> i was walking into glitz ultra lounge. i heard five gunshots. >> orlando police said three of the extra duty officers working at the club reported hearing shots fired just before 1:00 in the morning. >> there are 12 total victims. two have died. >> detectives believe at least three shooters opened fire killing two and injuring 10 others who were transported to eyewitness news spoke to this 24-year-old who did not want to show his face but describes seeing the victims laying on the ground as close to 300 others ran out for cover. >> i just saw the bodies laying on the ground. >> as crime scene investigators filled the club parking lot, i spoke with one clubgoers who says he has been at the venue before. he was not there this morning. but his close friend unfortunately was. dead. >> in a press conference, they said the club had taken extensive measures for security and were working to figure out >> investigators did not say them down. suspects. people. we are in pain. >> eyewitness news did reach out to the club owner. we stopped by his apopka home. but there was no answer. reviewing surveillance video from inside of the club. we hope the surveillance has a better description of the three suspects and what ultimately led up to the shooting. here in orlando, channel 9, eyewitness news. we continued team coverage on the shooting. eyewitness found out this is the second shooting at glitz ultra lounge within the last four months. we just got back from an interview with one of the men shot in the head during the shooting back in october that we told you about. the victim told you the security there is not good enough. >> reporter: he told me that he knows several people who routinely would sneak guns into the club. he said all security did was a quick patdown. two people were hurt in the october shooting. a bullet hit reynolds in the back of the head. another bullet hit another person in the abdomen. this all happened inside the club on october 24. reynolds showed us the scar on the back of his head where the bullet entered. he said he is not surprised two people died at glitz ultra >> i'm good. i'm guessing i'm good. >> coming up tonight on eyewitness news at 10:00 and 11:00, the victim looks like we will have a cold start to the work week. we're tracking the falling temperatures. we were talking earlier -- we will see the coldest weather and almost two weeks. >> the wind is gusting at over 30 miles per hour. that is not helping. this is daytona beach. the sea is rest. meanwhile, a light wind advisory -- that expired at 6:00 p.m. >> the good news is, the wind will be getting more weak. the temperatures drop quickly tonight. look at this. by 9:00 p.m., most of us are in the 40s. after midnight, we start to see the 30s creep into the northern zones. just ahead, a county by county look for the morning drive. >> with these chilly temperatures, cold forecast -- shelters will be open for the homeless. we have the central brevard sharing center off of aurora streets -- were cocoa beach can stay at the church of our savior on north atlantic avenue. this week, ucf students and staff will get a letter in the mail if they were affected by the data breach. the school says hackers got access to the social security numbers of more than 60,000 current and former students and staff. credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to anyone who has been affected. so give them a call on the hotline -- on the number on your screen. operators will take calls from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. monday through friday. you have to wait until tomorrow. soon we will find out more information about the confirmed case of the zika virus in osceola county. governor rick scott has declared a health emergency to try to prevent the virus from spreading. it has been linked to birth defects in babies. so far, there have been 14 confirmed cases in florida including one in osceola county. all of the cases are said to be travel related. starting on monday, we will get daily updates on the zika virus from the state surgeon general. tonight, in -- a ocoee family is looking for answers as to why two officers shot up their house, stormed inside and then arrested them. >> they shot through the front door. >> there is broken glass -- to the family's home on belhaven falls. that the home is full of bullet holes. the father said just before 1:00 in the morning yesterday, he could hear a loud banging and thought it was a burglar so he grabbed his gun. police say he never fired a shot but bullets started flying. he says officers stormed inside and arrested the entire family in -- including his 12-year-old son. hours later, the family was told it was the wrong house. also developing, a 13-year-old boy is in critical condition following a shooting in orange county. we're live on the conley acres neighborhood off semoran boulevard and hoffman where the teenager was injured. investigators say the boy was shot while visiting relatives. >> reporter: i talked to some of those relatives who are too shaken up to go on camera tonight. they told me they believe this was all just a big accident. but deputies have been here for five hours working to figure out if that is true. we were out here when some relatives just broke down. relatives told us the teenager was playing with the 17-year- old inside the home off holly berry drive -- a woman who identified herself as an and said the teenagers somehow got hold of a gun while they were playing video games and that is when it went off. the relatives we talked toward not inside the home at the time of the shooting. but they have been here talking with investigators. a neighbor right next door told me he believes he heard a gun go off twice. >> i just got done unloading groceries. sound. i figured the wind blew a chair over outside. the weird thing was -- about another pop. questions. we're working to get answers. this. trying to find out who owns the gun, who pulled the trigger -- was there an accident? we this happened on cypress parkway. deputies say the driver of a four door lincoln lost control of the car and went into the other lane. the car hit a jeep had on. two -- there were 10 people involved. seven of the victims are still recovering on this sunday night. investigators say the roads were wet. some orange county residents who have complained about noise in their neighborhood, won't get any complained about construction noise and will have to deal with more construction noise. we told you about this issue last month when homeowners complained about construction at night at lake underhill and woodbury roads. today, crews started using a jackhammer. that will continue through thursday night. the county said the work has to be done at night because there is just too much traffic during the day. we are requesting work -- potential threats of violence at a medical's -- middle school. parents packed a pta meeting on tuesday to talk about what happened. orange county superintendent said parents a letter stating that there are no gangs on campus and the threats of violence were unfounded. orange county deputies say they believe a deadly shooting outside of the florida mall was not random. it happened just before 7:30 friday night in the jcpenney parking lot. investigators found 20-year-old andrew garland near a car. the vehicle was believed to be involved in this crime. shoppers we spoke with say that they were shocked that the shooting would happen in such a busy area. >> people are there with family. people come here and visit. you don't expect that at the mall. >> the second victim, 19-year-old samuel destin, died at orlando regional medical center. orlando commissioners are expected to meet customer onto a just -- discussed plans for a controversial industrial park. for the project near john young parkway. they say the new project could impact traffic and property values. and the river basin. a hearing officers said the neighbors did not present enough evidence. he recommended the city deny the appeal. a bill protecting religious organizations will be up for discussions this weekend tallahassee. if approved, the measurable keep those to refuse to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies from being sued. the proposal has already passed through some house committees and will now be heard by the full house. a senate committee will also consider the sheltered areas where the temperatures could and marion county as well -- possibly patchy frost for the early morning. in orange county, we're looking at temperatures down to the upper 30s at winter park. this is at about 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. when you are going to work. forty-two in downtown orlando. will show you how cold it is in your neighborhood. but into seminole county, look at all of these 30s. upper 30s. county. holly hill, daytona -- new windy over the next few hours. if you are in osceola county, low 40s. and toward st. cloud, as well. by the morning, some 30s. you can see your
