Burr is a powerful endumb bent, chairman of the Intelligence Committee and running in a state from clinton a and neck. His survival depends on how trump performs in South Carolina. Another state to watch closely, maybe the most closely, is New Hampshire. Republican senator kelly ayott is running against the states democratic governor, and this race is expected to be close like the president ial race, but that doesnt necessarily mean their fate is tied at the top of the ticket. New hampshire is known for independence spirit and a place where ticket splitting is not over party loyalty. Over on the house side, republicans try to hold on to the largest majority since 1928.
