severe weather brewing. i believe it exists late saturday and early on sunday. again that is available for apple and android platforms. outside, things have quieted down after a nasty start to the day in terms of visibility. we had the fog and then a beautiful afternoon. a couple of showers did pop up in eastern polk county and long gone but the warm temperatures are here for another 36 hours or so. upper 60s to low 70s right now and we are only going to drop in the low to mid 60s and with that moisture out there, there will be some fog but not nearly as widespread as it was this morning. tampa clear and 73. one of the reasons i don't think we see quite as much fog as the wind will pick up. you typically need calm winds for this type of fog to develop and with southeast winds at five miles per hour we are not seeing calm conditions. nor do i think we will. conditions that we need for the thick fog making visibility down near zero. hit 82 today in tampa. 11 degrees above the normal high. 11 degrees above the normal low. we dropped down to 64 this morning. clear and 68 insane pete. east southeast winds at 8 miles per hour and in sarasotata skies are clear and winds closer to ten. southeast wind that we had out there also brought in the moisture and one or two showers afternoon. most of the area dry. very pleasant evening and again visibility while there will be some patchy fog it won't and huge deal. temperatures in the 80s and a few clouds. early on thursday, the first day of the florida state fair it will rain. and here is how i time it out. there will be showers and maybe a couple thunderstorms with this. it is the same front that brought the severe weather tonight to the deep south. the time it makes it here, i don't see the energy for severe weather. but we still will have decent rain. maybe a couple of storms and that lingers to the afternoon hours. as you see a watch out a lot of crowds and a good chance of rain. friday looks better by friday morning it clears out noticeably and we have a very nice day but a much cooler day. we will be in the low 80s and middle 80s on wednesday. dade city 85 and brooksville 84 and mid-80s across the interior, east of 75 you will be 83, 84 on wednesday and on friday, you will see highs in the 60s as we cool off. that cold air behind the frost. there it is. severe weather out ahead of it. once it clears on friday, we looks okay through most of the day. and then low pressure in the golf increases the rain chances and a severe threat saturday night into first things sunday morning. for the boaters southeast winds at 10 to 15 knots. gulf temperature and 60s in clear water and there will be sea fog offshore but not as dense locally as it was this morning. there are the upcoming tide and the sunrise and sunset. the seven-day forecast rain 20% tomorrow night and thursday a lot of the clouds and occasional rain. rain chances 70% and friday looks good and saturday and sunday, the rain is saturday night into sunday morning. early saturday looks good and late sunday looks good and clearing and colder early next week. well the eastern conference playoff race. in, next in sports. hello there is surprise that the browns saying they had enough of johnny manziel. they will release manziel. the timing we are not sure of but most arrows point to mark snide. they say he has been an embarrassment to the team and himself and he has no support group to set him straight. this is pretty close to superbowl week for the tampa bay lightning. they have a couple of games coming up this week that are really nothing short of most victories. first of all tomorrow night the red wings and the penguins on friday night. the teams are right there with and back to trying to build another winning streak and hopefully take advantage of these games at home through the middle of february. there is still room for improvement and we realize that and that's when the games get tighter and tougher as he clench a playoff spot. we got to be ready for it. >> you can see for yourself what these games mean. the bolts and red wings in a tie and boston city in the first spot with 58 spots and
