with cold numbers in the 30s across weeki wachee and brooksville but remember, this time yesterday, we're point. so we're on a trend to warmer, milder, temperatures as we head through the day. by 10 a.m.. 61, 72 this afternoon. so, unlike yesterday, we didn't seat 70s right here in tampa but today we will. over the course of the up coming work week, we'll be dealing with the 70 degrees all week long. so, sun coast sunshine in full effect here this afternoon and, well, the forecast is actually changing a little bit. i'll tell you the nuances in the details here coming up compared to what we morning, members of the prince william county police department in virginia are mourning the loss of one of their own. a rookie officer shot and killed in her first day on the job. officer ashley guten was fatally shot while responding to a domestic shooting saturday night. police have the shooter in custody but the investigation is on going. she graduated with a bachelor's degree and served in the marine corp before joining the police force. two other officers were also shot at the scene and are being treated at this hour. take a look at this video from overnight. members of the prince william county police department and firefighters lined the streets to honor that officer. two other officers were shot at scene are being treated. she has family also serving in law enforcement. the suspected shooter is in custody but he is not been identified. happening today is two weeks truck driver was killed by a hit-and-run driver after he stopped to help stranded motorists on the howard frankland bridge. dozens of tow truck driver will remember the life of robert perez boroto. they will pay tribute t fallen man. the route these drivers are taking will tell a . >>reporter: yeah it certainly lchlt they're calling this the ride for roger and all of those tow truck drivers and fellow service truck drivers will meet outside of rodgers home in tampa and then they will drive here to country. this is where he worked when he was killed and then they will drive to the howard frankland bridge right past that spot where roger was struck and killed on february 15th. now it was early in the morning on february 15th and he was killed by a hit-and-run driver while he was helping motorists investigators say he was outside of his tow truck in the emergency lane when he was hit. perez boroto was highly regarded by his co-workers and will be missed by many, including his wife and 4-year-old daughter. >> you talk about a guy that will come to work 15 minutes early, this man comes to work two hours early to see if he can hel. >> the organizers of the ride will be bringing awareness to the move over law and the importance. allison hoffman admitted to investigators she was behind the wheel of the car when it struck and killed perez boroto. he is being held on $750,000 bond on charges of leaving the scene of a deadly accident. so certainly should be a very emotional day for those that did know roger and for those that didn't know roger, i understand a lot of fellow tow truck personally will be coming to this event just to pay their respects. >> emotional for what seems people were shot and killed in kalamazoo, family and friends of two of the victims dealership for a vigil hours after celebrating the life of richard smith and his son tyler at a funeral service, they returned to the parking lot where they were gunned down. fireworks lit up the sky. the crowd honored the hadother people killed and two other people that were injured. a missing boater has been found dead. rescuers found the boater in a pond off of turkey creek road in plant city saturday night. two males were out on the water in a small boat when it capsized. up of the boaters was able to stwoim and this morning, the shooter is in custody. the officer was shot to death while responding to a domestic shooting in prince william county, virginia. now. the body of a missing boater has been found to rob a gas station. hillsborough deputies tell us 27-year-old joshua thomas stormed into the quick pick chevron in state road 60 armed with a gun. he demanded money but ran off without getting any. not long later, deputies found thomas and arrested him. two-month girl abducted from her south florida home friday night has been found 200 miles away. she was found alive in orlando saturday afternoon hours from her home in fort lauderdale. investigators say the baby and her mother were asleep when the gun men broke in and took the girl. tiraji is at a hospital in orlando. investigators have not found the kidnappers. they are questioning a 23-year-old stephanie augustan. therdz calling her a person -- they're calling her a person of interest in this case. a st. petersburg city -- organized this ride for roger to remember the life of roger perez baroto. he was 43 years old when he was struck and killed. the ride will begin around 10:30 this morning. that is when riders will begin meeting. they'll go past rodgers home in tampa and will go past lou's car care. that is where roger worked and they will go past this spot where he was hit and killed on the howard frankland bridge earlier this month. that all happene february 15th, early in the morning, when roger had stopped to help some motorists around 2:30. investigators say he was outside of his tow truck in the emergency lane when he was hit. we spoke with his sister, who was absolutely devastated just >> he was a very kind, humble, genuine man, she hard working, very family man. just like what he was doing
