bomb exploded monday near a new jersey transit station. >> all of this following saturday manhattan that injured 29 people. hours earlier a device blew up in seaside park in new jersey. meredith is live in the tampa news center this morning. you received new information and there's also the latest video too. >> reporter er: that's right. nbc just reported that police are at a residence in new jersey. cutting into a device when it exploded. take a look. a police spoke s sman said the blast was not a columbused -- was not a controlled debt led detonation. -- controlled detonation. that followed a bombing saturday night that injured 29 people in manhattan. several law enforcement officials are telling nbc news that they are concerned that an active terrorism cell could be at work in new york areas. last night they stopped a vehicle of interest and questioned five people. none of them has been charged yet. now this morning that on going investigation in new jersey has some mass transit services shut down. paul, amtrak warning of possible cancelations and guaranteed delays. >> i'm sure we can expect more developments throughout the day today. meredith, thank you after a mother violently snatched her two children from their care giver in citrus county. authorities are frantically looking for rylan and mason williams after their mom, stacie took them without permission. news channel 8's ryan hughes is live in hillsborough county this morning. ryan, i know that law enforcement is everywhere scouring looking for these children. >> reporter: yeah, good morning to you once again. police officers and deputies are on roads and highways like the one you see behind me right now looking for these two kids and their two parents. let's take a look at the two missing kids. 1-year-old mason and 3-year-old rylan were violently taken by their mom, stacie. she barged into their care giver's home and snatched is -- the kids. she is believe ed d to be travelling with ryan williams in a white ford expedition heading to ohio or now t let the kids run wild when she had custody of them. >> you knew there was two small kids there. >> always. always. they were running around in diapers, no shirt on, running around the yard. >> reporter: and those who know stacie and ryan williams said they have a history of drug use and violence. here's another really trying to spread the word about these children. thank you, ryan. this morning we're trying to learn more about the tragic shooting death of a tampa toddler. it happened at the clipper bay apartments on south louis avenue last night. here's the scene. accidental or intentional. police are interviewing family members this morning. of course, we will have more for you on this case as soon as we get it. happening today, we will learn more about plans to turn around five failing schools in polk county. superintendent jacquelyn bird is expected to reveal the plan for the struggling schools. some of the proposals include diverting money to the failing schools and giving teachers more planning time. the middle schools under the gun to make boone, denison, kathleen, lake alford and west wood. a woman is in jail for texting a bomb threat to her neighbor. she texted her neighbor on bird's eye terrace in bradenton claiming a bomb would blow up. deputies evacuated the area but bomb sniffing dogs didn't find any evidence of a bomb anywhere. she told police that the text was quote an empty threat. in sports this morning the of work to do after getting clobbered by arizona. it was tough to watch. in the 2nd quarter, yeah, the cardinals had a commanding 24-0 lead. things just kept getting worse. bucs quarterback jameis winston had a horrible game, throwing four interceptions and fumbling once. they will be homeor opener next weekend at raymond james stadium. it's a home opener so we have to support our bucs and maybe have it look more like the first game of the reason -- in elizabeth, new jersey. >> that discovery comes just 24 hours after a device exploded in manhattan. also an explosion in seaside park, new jersey on saturday. news channel 8's meredith is in the tampa news center this morning. more -- meredith what is happening right now? >> reporter: right now heavily armed fbi agents are raiding an address in elizabeth, new jersey. the raid has not officially been connected with the on going investigation into recent bombs found in new york and new jersey. now earlier this morning a backpack containing five ied's was found detonation was not planned. it was actually the bomb squad attempting to disarm it. this was the second education explosion in new -- second explosion in new york since saturday morning. an explosion injured 29 people in manhattan and an unexploded pressure cooker device was found near by. several law enforcement officials told nbc news they are concerned that an active terrorism cell with multiple players could be at work new york/new jersey area. last night the fbi stopped a vehicle of interest in the new new york blast and questioned five people. none of them have been charged. the today show will have live preliminary hearing today. police arresteded him on tuesday after a woman he was holding hostage called 911. he faces two charges of murder, one count of kidnapping. north carolina checking the tires after this deadly bus crash. four people killed, 42 injured. this bus was headed towards fey ayetteville. the left front dire -- tire blew out. an investigation into why a small plane carrying sky divers crashed into a home. this happened in gilbert, arizona shortly after taking off. something went wrong. the pilot before the plane crashed. two people were inside the home at the time and were
