as we get it. happening today, we will learn more about plans to turn around five failing schools in polk county. superintendent jacquelyn bird is expected to reveal the plan for the struggling schools. some of the proposals include diverting money to the failing schools and giving teachers more planning time. the middle schools under the gun to make boone, denison, kathleen, lake alford and west wood. a woman is in jail for texting a bomb threat to her neighbor. she texted her neighbor on bird's eye terrace in bradenton claiming a bomb would blow up. deputies evacuated the area but bomb sniffing dogs didn't find any evidence of a bomb anywhere. she told police that the text was quote an empty threat. in sports this morning the of work to do after getting clobbered by arizona. it was tough to watch. in the 2nd quarter, yeah, the cardinals had a commanding 24-0 lead. things just kept getting worse. bucs quarterback jameis winston had a horrible game, throwing four interceptions and
