Heavy fog kept the ship from coming into port tampa bay on time. Good news, you can see it behind me this morning so that meant yesterdays trip was pushed back until today. That also meant some people spent an extra half day onboard until the ship docked here late last night. And the carnival paradise was supposed to turn around yesterday afternoon and head out the sea for a fourday cruise with all new passengers. And now those passengers wont leave until later today and that cruise will simply spend three days at sea and wont stop in mexico. We talked to a couple who being parked at sea for around with it. It was fun though. Not a problem. We take it as it comes. Reporter allen and faye of lakeland got off the ship last night. Others spent the night onboard morning. Were told around 7 00. And now as a nice gesture, Carnival Cruise line will give the passengers delayed 50 off this cruise and also 50 off a cruise in the future. So perhaps a good deal for some of the people. The National Weather Service Reports this twister packed winds up to 85 Miles Per Hour. The storm uprooted tree, knocked down power poles and even tore up some roofs. Investigators report the woman was on her porch when a man grabbed her. The woman screamed, a motion light and barking dogs scared the man away. Today we will learn more about a family who is suing disneys Animal Kingdom. It involves a snake falling out of a tree. The familys attorney claims the snake fell on to an 8year old boy and bit him. The boys grandmother saw this incident and had a heart attack and died. Disney isnt commenting on the lawsuit just yet. And theres going to be music and food. And you will need tickets for that one. On saturday, the street festival starts at 10 00 a. M. And theres food including my favorite, those handdipped corn dogs. And the big invasion begins at 11 30 saturday morning and the parade parts at 2 00. This parade goes on for several hours. The Moment Police officers chased a wanted man into the restaurant. Its the Third Largest parade in the nation and it comes with a lot of alcohol and a locality of traffic. Coming up a lot of traffic. To get around the gasparilla a bay area charity is helping the troubled town of flint, michigan deal with a water emergency. The united way of pasco county collected cases of water. On the way to michigan, the pick up more donations there. The delivery comes as the city deals with contaminated pipes. Customers rushed out of the restaurant in fear but no one was hurt. He was suspect was wanted for a series of Violent Crimes over the past month. So i am sharing information to keep all of us safe on the roads. Gasparilla is now the Third Largest parade in the nation. And of course drinking. If you talk to anyone who has received a dui, its probably one of the worst experiences of their lives. Reporter so be ware pirate, tampa police will be out in full force. Theyll be looking for those drunk drivers. That is during the parade, after the parade and into the evening. Reporter the best idea is to have a designated driver or take a taxi or a Ride Sharing Service. Uber is partnering up with captain morgan to give away 20 ride vouchers to a thousand people. Just type pirate responsibly into your uber app. And lyft is also an option. And dont forget about responsible boating. Theres people on the water for the invasion. Duis, the marine patrol, the coast guard will be looking for the people boating and drinking. But you change in the book so did you marco.
