Well, lets go back to the breaking news two. Dead in a fire at a polk county home. Yeah, terrible scene out there. The chcharred remains are on old polk city roroad in lakeland. And thats where we find news channel 8s ryan hughes live for us this morning. Ryan, what are you learning out there . Reporter gene, good morning to you once again. We are told right now the state fire marshall is on the scene. A number of officials were just up against the home investigating. They have since walked away but you can see at this point, it is simply a burned shell. We are told that a passerby saw the flames just after 1 00 by thehe time firefighters got here roughly 10 to 15 minutes later, we are told it was three quarters of the way involvlved two. People are dead, a man and woman, both adult, were told and a dog was also found dead inside the home. Two dogs on the outside of the mobile home were injured. We talked to a polk county spokesman who explained what ththe passerby saw this morning. We hahad a witness pass by and that was at 1 12 this morning. And he saw that the mobile home was ability half way involved and by the time the crcrew got there at 1 22 this morning,g, it was about threequarters involved. Reporter so clearly the fire erupted within 10 minutes going from about half involved to threequarters to fully involved so an intense fire here. Again, two people are dead, a man and woman. And at this point, the state fire marshall and the Polk County Sheriffs Office looking for cause number one and trying was an accidental fire or perhaps deliberately set.
