breaking news. two people are dead in a house fire in sarasota county. reporter paul lamison is live over the scene. paul, tell us what you see. >> reporter: good afternoon jen. this was a three alarm fire which is a serious fire for a residential area. here, take a look at this. this is the front of the house where flames ripped through the roof. but, that is not the worst. back here has been reduced to rubble. this was a screened porch that has basically melted and come apart. and the roof as well over here. the fire went through. like i said, it was a third alarm fire, so, plenty of firefighters were here, they did have two people that were dead inside the home. one was transported to sarasota memorial hospital. and, the state fire marshal is now on the scene.
