They found a well defined center of circulation with maximum sustained winds of 39 Miles Per Hour and an increase in thunderstorm activity close to that center. They upgraded it to tropical depression 9 after tropical depression 8 developed off the North Carolina coastline presentation there north of cuba south of key west, that is the center of circulation. This is the forecast track, takes it into the southern gulf, expected to develop into a weak Tropical Storm as early as tomorrow afternoon. Then you notice that hard turn to the north, northeast where the system could impact the Florida Gulf Coast by the second half of the workweek with the potential for some Tropical Storm force winds. Notice the uncertainty in the forecast with that track. That cone of uncertainty will get much smaller through the ne you can expect some heavy rainfall, very busy in the tropics. Tropical depression 8 also developed, gaston a major hurricane. The two parked across the street from the house around 11 15 saturday night and kicked in the backdoor. A man inside confronted the miami duo. There was an argument and the resident shot the two home invaders. That man ran off. People in this normally quiet neighborhood are scratching their heads. Its just insane to me to think about. I had no idea. Neighborhood. Everybody waves at you when you go down the street. I would never have imagined. After a week of searching a man deputies say carjacked a woman outside a bone the polk county Sheriffs Office says 41yearold Sean Mclaughlin stole the car by threatening the driver with a chain. The car was found crashed and burned a short distance from where it was stolen. Tonight mclaughlin is charged with Armed Robbery and grand theft of a motor vehicle. They bumped it up to a tropical depression and its forecast to become a Tropical Storm perhaps as early as tomorrow afternoon with winds around 40 Miles Per Hour in the southern gulf. Then it starts to make a turn towards the north, northeast. You see a big cone of uncertainty with this from pensacola down towards port charlotte, so a wide range with that, but as forecast models come into better agreement the that cone get smaller and smaller. You notice the forecast from the National Hurricane center does bring this up to Tropical Storm intensity, so not only heavy rainfall but the potential for Tropical Storm force winds during the second half of the workweek. Tropical moisture arriving starting tomorrow and then its right above us tuesday, looks like wednesday and thursday well see the greatest threat for heavy rainfall. This is just one forecast model, the european model showing the potential for of rainfall across the tampa bay area during 4 to 8 inches of rainfall across the tampa bay area during the workweek. Thursday if it develops into tropical depression 9 or Tropical Storm hermine or ian depending which order they form in, that will bring the heavy rainfall. That will be the primary threat with this. If it becomes a stronger Tropical Storm, thats where well see a better threat of some coastal, maybe some bay winds of 115 Miles Per Hour, tropical depression 8 could become a Tropical Storm and impact the outer banks of North Carolina.
