St. Petersburg police tell us the teenage pilot, 18 years old, was flying from lakeland to Manatee County and started having a mechanical issue. He was trying to make it to the airport but he knew he couldnt. The plane a 1939 taylor craft clipped an oak tree on a golf the pilot and passenger walked away and told the residents what happened. A number of years people have said its happened again. So when you heard what happened what was your reaction . I dont know my neighbor called and told me about it and i said again.
