The bacteria levels are so high, we are closing beaches and we need to protect our citizens. Reporter peters wants to bring the Pinellas County delegation together with local leaders to talk about waste water. This is stuff that should have been maintained a long time before this. Reporter but she also believes the city of Saint Petersburg has an obligation to let the public know what is going on. Yes. Those citizens need to know just like i get on my paddle board and go out on the water. We need to know if it is safe or not. They dont necessarily test right there. Reporter state senator jack agrees with representative peters. They will have a meeting september 20 to try to pull local leaders to talk about this waste water dumping issue. So they will have a big meeting. What are they going to get out of the meeting . Reporter it is not just the city of Saint Petersburg, keith, dumping here. It is a number of municipalities in Pinellas County. What they want to do is get a handle on perhaps how as an area they can work on this issue together. Thousands of employees were caught and fired for setting up fake accounts and credit cards. Wells fargo paid a whopping 185million fine. Now, customers want to know what does it cost them in the end . Josh benson joins us now from our Tampa News Center with more. Reporter according to the investigation, wells fargo was duping customers into paying millions in fees and services they never asked for. Now, thousands of employees have been fired and customers are left wondering if they are victims. Credit card accounts opened. Late fees charged. Customers never having a clue. Just some of the findings in a ma wells fargo infuriating for customers like frank. I look at it, counting it. I had 15 accounts at once. It is very frustrating and i never opened them. Reporter wells fargo employees opened 1. 5 Million Bank Accounts and a half million credit cards never requested by customers. I would have these accounts and a 10 fee, a 15 fee. A 5 fee each month on each account. It adds up. Reporter a los angeles money was moved between accounts without customers knowledge. Every Consumer Needs to trust their bank. And, no bank should take advantage of their customers. Reporter wells fargo ordered to pay 185 million grand larceny in fines. And this week saying the bank has fired employees over the past five years for their role in the scam. The bank says we regret and take responsibility for any instances where customers may have received a product that they did wells fargo ordered to pay customers back in full. The unauthorized opening of accounts in your name may be using fraudulent email addresses or pins, is just shocking conduct. Reporter a case shaking trust in the Worlds Largest bank. New tonight, two pasco county men face federal charges for burning a cross in the ya Thomas Sigler seen there in the mug shot from a previous arrest and William Dennis were indicted today. Now, this incident happened way back in 2012 so these charges have been a long time coming. The u. S.
