people on the other side of the crash area, screaming, obviously being notified that perhaps some of their loved ones had been killed. mlk is closed right now in both directions. early reports are that at least one car was on fire, that some of the original responding emergency crews, firefighters and deputies from the hillsborough county sheriff's office had to go in and try to rescue people. we're back out here live. you can see the scene here, just terrible. there are cars in the middle of the road. bumpers lying in the road. smashed glass. that white car right there. you can see it's incinerated. obviously unsurvivable. four people dead out here. hillsborough county and we will get more information as it becomes available. >> thank you. fire rips through a home in sarasota. killing two people inside there and sending another to the hospital. the house went up in flames in mere minutes. several neighbors believe if the house was not so full of clutter, the victims may have stood a better chance at survival. paul, firefighters really had a lot going against them and tonight, as you take a look at house. there are still a whole lot of unanswered questions. most importantly, what sparked a deadly flames that caused this terrible tragedy. >> it's very sad to hear what happened with them. >> reporter: a neighborhood in shock. two neighbors dead. their son in the hospital. and their house here on sugar lane, a total loss. >> i pray for them. i feel sorry. sad situation. >> a sad situation for neighbors who say, the family, very often. >> they were very quiet. just stayed to themselves. they had health issues. >> many arrived home to see the tragedy unfolding. >> pulling into see this is quite a reality shock. >> the fire chief said the house went up in flames in mere minutes. when they first arrived, they had no idea anyone was inside. but when they found the son, they had to knock down a wall so they could save him. >> i'm being told the victim difficult time getting him out of the structure. >> reporter: neighbors say the family may never have stood a chance. that the home may have been a fire hazard. >> overly cluttered i would say. >> piles of stuff? >> yeah. they may have had a hard time maneuvering about in the their home. there could have been more of a fire hazard already. >> neighbors wonder, could this have been prevented? >> very sad to hear what happened. their family. >> reporter: so what could have sparked this fire? several neighbors say the power went off. the power line was knocked to the ground. a transformer blew, and one neighbor right next door said his surge protector blue up. >> and that's because there was a utility crew in the area working that morning. i guess that's why all of these things were starting to happen. the investigation continuing. thank you. new tonight, guilty. after less than two deliberations, a polk county jury found rapper kevin gates guilty of battery. he was caught on this video kicking a female guest in the chest. jen joins us live from outside of that club in lakeland. what's the reaction there tonight? >> reporter: well, we're far away from the club for good reason. no one here wanted to talk on camera. and we were very politely asked to leave. the vicinity of the club. video. this video showing rapper kevin gaits kicking a fan when he is reaches for his leg. he and his attorney claimed self-defense. but the jury of six women, didn't buy it. >> we the jury find as follows. the defendant is guilty of battery as charged in the information. so we say this 26th day of october. >> reporter: the trial itself lasted only one women serving on that jury. gates is now going to have to pay court costs and fines as well. and keep in mind, he was a convict felon before this story we brought you last night. on a voter fraud concern in hillsborough county. a voter turned to 8 on your side after the state mailed a registration card and a but the woman on the card, with his address is someone he doesn't know. today the hillsborough county supervisor of elections told us they fixed that issue telling ugh was a clerical error. in order to vote, you have to present not just that voter card, but a photo and signature id. well, a gimpy foot and a surveillance video puts an end to a they arrested the guy. jose m a, faa i, a. also seen dropping one of the motors on his foot twice. deputies say his foot was still in bad shape what he was caught. we have some new information out tonight that names i-4 as the most dangerous interstate in america. the marketing firm every north. and we might see in the afternoon, a few extra clouds for us. so we'll look at that in the sky. but the rain chances are really 10% or less. probably more on the or less part. because the shower chances -- just are not that great. nothing to really trigger the shower activity. and there's a lot of stability in the atmosphere overall. but earl flow is definitely in place for friday afternoon. a mix of sunshine and clouds. the humidity will be relatively high. but generally lower rain chances. 68 degrees. that's our forecast low. 85 degrees in the afternoon. a few extra clouds and barack obama normal temperatures. with an overall earl flow. that at times today, certainly we could call that breezy. 85 as well for saturday. sunshine and clouds. but note that rain chance, we were talking about that less than 10% chance, we're going to not much chance at all. the best chance, if any, for a few drops will be across the southern portion of the of course, we want nice weather there is debris all over the place. and there is an engine, a motor out in the median. there are three cars involved. there's the white minivan, what looks like a volkswagon. and way over on the other side of the road, there's a car near development there that is right that and we believe there are victims from that as well. right now not much going on right now. there eventually and probably going to have map out exactly how this happened and all we know there are four victims. we don't know how it all went down. >> a lot of force on the impact for sure. lives in hillsborough county. we'll have
