video shows the kidnapper carrying the 6-year- old from her home. eventually dropped her off in th her captive for hours. >> and i play a lot of what ifs or what if i would have seen him and that i always kick myself in the butt. if i could have done anything and caught him before he caught away then it wouldn't have happened to the little girl and that breaks my heart. >> reporter: the fbi links the two cases between some evidence. here he is caught on camera in the cleveland neighborhood a week before the kidnapping. 2003 chevy lumina. the cleveland girl told investigators there was a man and a woman in a home that she was taken to that someone was cooking chicken. police do not suspect that man and woman had any idea that the little girl was being held in the bedroom. police sources tell me that it is critical that they identify this man because they are afraid that he will target another child. >> the next l not be as lucky as my daughter and what happened to that little right, rob. you know it took elyria police just hours to solve yesterday's murder. meanwhile another high-profile murder mystery drags on. this year in lorain. police say that he was shot to death in his upstairs apartment on lexington avenue. >> we believe this is a robbery that went bad. >> a quiet guy. >> reporter: neighbor betty turner told me that holland was friendly and kept to himself. >> i knew jimmie as a neighbor. he's very nice person. never any trouble or anything, he was just a real nice guy. >> police arrested four people, elliott kirkland, mark sanchez, and jasmine schafer are charged with murder. latrice obstructing justice. all four have criminal records. betty lives near three of the recent murders. >> well don't make me feel too safe, but we mind our own business and documents that he has owned or operated five companies in the last 16 years in cuyahoga county. they are suing dreamworks home improvement. that ken sent her a small reimbursement check for the work
