Dew points are still up, also as the front is starting to track across northeast ohio. So tracking rain this morning for twinsburg just moving north and east out of the hudson area, so stark county already this morning, getting hit with a little bit of rain, you can down from euclid to lake county. These are heavy downpours, no lightning associated with those cells but even ashtabula to connoat they are slow moving systems, moving east 5 do 10 5 to 10 Miles Per Hour but cloudy skies and rain linger across the area. We begin with chaos overnight in milwaukee. Protests breaking out there after police shot and killed a 23yearold black man after midnight. A protest then got out of hand with fires breaking out at several businesses. Police say the man was killed, fled from officers during a its not immediately clear if he pointed it at officers. As news of his death spread so did protests with more than 100 people gathering at the scene. You all saw the crowd then went over to the gas station and set the gas station afire. I dont know how many individuals were involved in that. Of course that is going to be part of the investigation as well. Three people were arrested during the protests. Closer to home there are still a turned back on after storms rolled through last week. Power just returned in some parts of cleveland last night but for one resident it was a long wait in the dark. Gale ward needs power for her electric wheelchair. Without it shes often stranded. I said this cant happen because im in this chair. The refrigerator is off. Everything is off. Her power is back on now but there are still some areas firstenergy says its workers are pulling 16hour shifts to make sure the power is returned to everyone. Heres a look at the current outage numbers from firstenergy now, just under 700 people are without power in Cuyahoga County. In Summit County just 30 customers left in the dark. I know were still picking up the pieces from storms earlier this week. So were going to lose a little bit of humidity today as a cold front is making its way across northeast ohio. Moisture starting to sag in to Richland County to medina area. Currently at 73 degrees. Up as the front is tracking in from the west right now. At an oppressive state youre definitely feeling like youre in a Swimming Pool or a tight turtleneck. Were continuing to track a little moisture already affecting lake county to ashtabula. No lightning in these cells and they are very slowgoing moving north and east but you can see the bulk of this moisture starting to track in with a little bit of lightning as temperatures are pretty high this morning.
