A person on the property at the time tells us that the gun went off inside a building here at the mercury 3100 building complex. They say that the Sheriff S Office says that deputies responded to a discharged weapon call here on alafaya drive. They say there was a large Group Standing outside yelling, what, and then running off. Deputies found a gun and marijuana in the apartment when they searched. It appeared that nobody had been shot. Two people are reportedly in custody. Two others are reportedly on the loose, according to night news. This is a competent very close to ucf, the campus, it used to be called the village at alafaya. The going police say they were there to respond to a disturbance call around 1 00 saturday morning. When they got there, ocoee police chief Charles Brown says two officers encountered the homeowner with a gun, and officers opened fire. Bullets shattered windows and went through walls as the child slept inside. Neighbors say they cannot blame the homeowner for coming to the door with a gun. Anyone who comes to the door without a weapon at that time of day is crazy. Jazmin in a statement sent to wesh 2, the homeowner s lawyer says, after loud banging at the front door, his client asked officers four times to identify themselves. The homeowner claims no one responded. That s when he got out his gun. Shortly after, police started shooting. Attorney todd miner tells wesh 2 an ocoee Police Officer at the scene later told his Client Police admitted they had the wrong house. Ocoee police declined to comment on that, citing an ongoing investigation. Michelle the Kissimmee Police department will be sweeping gas stations throughout the city today, looking for skimmers. You might remember last week, when several devices were discovered at four 711 gas stations in the city. Found at a 711 on west vine street. So far, there have been no reports of credit card fraud.
