the coast will be the low to mid 60' s. jason: we are waking up to some very cold temperatures this morning. the orlando police department is making sure everyone stays warm. michelle: they are preparing for a blanket and coat drive this morning. alex villareal is live. how are donations going? >> it starts up here at 7:00 this morning. we are standing in front of opd headquarters. it is cold outside. we have our trusty thermometer, we are in the low 40' s in downtown orlando and that is why the orlando police department today is holding what they are calling a blanket and coat drivethru. people can drop off their donations at the curb. opd says today' s event from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. is part of an ongoing drive. the jackets and blankets they collect are dropped at the coalition for the homeless. they put some in their cruisers to pass out on the street if people need them. you can come by and add your donation. just an idea of how cold it is. marian and flagler counties are under a freeze warning until 9:00. emergency officials opened up cold weather shelters at the shelter in titusville. if you want to bring your donations, you can do that between 7:00 and 9:00 this morning. michelle: let' s get a check of your morning commute with ted noah. ted: as you get ready to head out and warm up that car, you will find road work on i-4 waiting for you. from car after a frightening home invasion last night in orlando. michelle: one person in the home was hurt. >> here is what made the three men were wearing masks and dark close when they broke in. machine guns. they were some -- they were not weapon. circle. several people or inside the house at the time of the invasion. one got hurt as you mentioned, it was a minor injury. the sheriff' s office says the men stole a car and then drove off. deputies could not confirm the make or model. it is possible the stolen car is a black mercedes-benz. the sheriff' s office told us there is no indication the victims knew the invaders. jason: deputies in marion county are asking for your help to find a missing teenager with autism. the 17-year-old was last -- 17-year-old margaret lehman was last seen yesterday. michelle: one of the men charged in a burglary that ended in a deadly crash in seminole county will answer to a judge. deputies say spencer thompson was one of the suspects who broke into a home in sanford in november and then led them on a high-speed chase. the suv that thompson was in flipped while trying to avoid stop six on the 417. two people in the car with him died in the crash. jason: today, a judge is expected to announce whether she is reducing bond for a teenager accused of trying to run over and orlando police officer. police say the teen tried to run over william anderson. anderson' s wife says her husband now has vision problems, a traumatic brain injury and ptsd. as soon as the judge makes the ruling, we will bring it to you. president obama promises be below the 60' s. i expect temperatures to be warmer than yesterday but only 60 in ocala, 63 in clermont. 63 in longwood and oviedo. 64 in st. cloud. s and lower 60' s. a couple degrees warmer, that breeze coming out of the north northwest. a lot of sunshine at the beaches, there will be a chill at the -- in the air. we have a freeze watch in effect tonight for the same areas that have a freeze warning this morning. flagler and mary and counting -- and marion county included. temperatures dropping to 32 degrees or colder for a couple of hours early tomorrow morning. i am officially going 35 in ocala, there could be a couple of spots in marion county that dropped to 32. 41 in orlando, 42 melbourne. it will be a nether cold start for wednesday. -- another cold start for wednesday. our temperatures will start to slowly climb. our winds shift around, we get a bit of a pattern shift and on approach that will bring our temperatures to the mid 70' s but will also kick up showers and effect in our northern counties. we will top out in the lower 60' s. well below average for today. yesterday, we dropped into the 30' s and 40' s, this morning it is even colder. we dropped to 34 in ocala. 40 has been are low in daytona beach and 44 in melbourne. a couple of us climb from earlier just because of that cloud cover. we are up to 44 in daytona beach. 43 in stamford. 42 in kissimmee and 46 in winter haven. there is a little bit of cloud cover. dry. 36 is our feel like temperature in ocala. our wind is fairly light, where you have a breeze, you have that wind chill. 38 in orlando.
