alex: deputies say it started with an argument inside the el fogon del valle restaurant. one of the men shot here in this parking lot was part of that argument, but deputies say it appears the other victim was just an innocent bystander. the owner of the bar, restaurant was here when the shots rang out just before 2:00 this morning. he tells me that, unlike other places on south obt, violence is because he doesn' t tolerate it. every night, three to five security officers are on hand after 10:00, he says, to pat down everyone who walks through anyone who fights gets banned for six months. but the shooting overnight happened outside the restaurant. deputies say an orange county s detective driving by heard the gunshots. and deputies then found a 27-year-old man shot in the he had gotten into a verbal altercation with two other men earlier in the evening, left, they ambushed him, opening fire. 21-year-old man also hit by a hospital later had nothing to do neither man' s injuries are life-threatening. the owner of the restaurant says he' s going to keep doing what he' s been doing, and he wants people who come here to feel safe. in orange county, alex villarreal, wesh 2 news. michelle: no word yet on the identities of the two victims or the shooters who got away. breaking news this noon, a jacksonville man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges lonzie barton. as part of a plea deal, ruben ebron pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, child neglect, lying to police, and tampering with evidence. at today' s hearing, the prosecutor said barton was found dead in a tub of water at an apartment after he was left unattended. he said ebron took pictures of the injuries, and failed to get him appropriate medical care. the state also says preliminary results of an autopsy show the remains found in a wooded area last month belong to the toddler. lonzie' guilty to child neglect and lying to police last month. months of investigating. they say he shot and killed sean davis back in november in the apartment where they lived. neff claimed he was only defending himself. but officers say they found evidence that it was not a self-defense shooting. they also say neff waited to call 911, and had threatened to kill davis in the days leading up to the shooting. neff was supposed to appear in pushed back until tomorrow. family and friends of a 15-year-old altamonte springs boy are hoping someone will come forward with information about his killer. they held a vigil for tamar harris last night on office. michelle: covering brevard county today, an 8-year-old is recovering after he was hit by a car. titusville police say the child was struck by a gas company vehicle along north carpenter road yesterday afternoon. the driver of the truck did remain on scene and is cooperating with investigators. the little boy has injuries to his head and arm and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. there' s no word on why the child the driver faces any charges. in volusia county, a woman has bonded out of jail after allegedly driving drunk with a child in the back seat. 29-year-old teresa knudsen was arrested last night in orange city after she crashed into a fence and a light post. witnesses told police she was driving recklessly along east graves avenue near a shopping plaza. community. jason: a bizarre scene in west palm beach as an 8-year-old is seen with a a gun holding up a grocery store. you have to see this video. investigators say the kid walked up to the register and pointed a gun at the employees and demanded money. another employee saw what was going on, and managed to take loaded. the child tried to run away, but employees held him down and called police. the child' s mother says the gun belonged to her, and her son must have taken it from her purse. the boy has not been charged. happening right now, orange county deputies are buying back unwanted guns
