They believe the mother of the newborn, 31yearold Susan Richardson gave birth in this parking lot at the willow bend apartments on monday. That s where the placenta was found, but chief mina says richardson won obviously i think she has the information we are looking for. But she is not giving it up . Richardson was booked into the Orange County jail tuesday night, charged with child neglect and unlawful desertion of a child, and denied bond. Nobody knows what her. Richardson s boyfriend tells wesh 2 he came home to find blood all over their apartment. He claims she denied medical attention at first but later went to the hospital where it was confirmed she had given birth. I m sad about the whole situation. Dumpsters have been checked. Doors have been knocked on. But so far, detectives have no trace of the newborn. Just down the street from the scene, a Satellite Police station, considered a safe place for mothers who can t care for their babies. Do we believe the baby is still alive . You know, we re always going to hold out hope. But as time goes on, that possibility fades. Jason the coast guard is no longer searching for a boat or missing in rock he Lloyd Chamberlain was on a fishing trip on sunday when he disappeared somewhere between Satellite Beach and jetty park in port canaveral. A friend called police on sunday night when he did not hear from the man. His boat was spotted on Indian Harbor beach after police pinged his cell phone but chamberlain was nowhere to be found. This morning, Bethunecookman University is holding a memorial for a student killed over the weekend. Don Kevious Johnson played football for a season and had a fourmonthold daughter. He was shot, along with two other students at the indigo shores golf club at an offcampus party. One of them is already out of the hospital. A bcu spokesperson tells wesh 2 the university is taking steps to keep students safe and on campus. This morning, the suspect accused of killing his girlfriend s 81yearold father will face a judge. Wesh 2 was there as david buchan was hauled off to the Orange County jail. Our summer knowles dug into his past and found out this is not his first murder charge. Buchan being taken from the Orange County Sheriff S Office to the county jail tuesday. Buchan is accused of stabbing his girlfriend s 81yearold father Julian Gresham to death. His body was found inside his taft mobile home saturday night. Sheriff s deputies initially released these pictures of buchan, and 45yearold tessie gresham, identifying them both as persons of interest in the murder. Both were later located and baker acted, meaning they were held for mental heath evaluation and treatment. As of tuesday evening it was deemed by the medical professionals that he was competent. And buchan was immediately arrested and charged with first degree murder. And this is not the first time he s been charged in a violent crime. To my knowledge he has previously been arrested and charged against his mother but he was found not guilty of stabbing his mother to death, by reason of insanity. That was in 2007, but just 3 years ago, buchan s sister, submitted this handwritten letter to a judge begging that he be sent back to Florida State hurt himself or someone else. In the letter, she wrote things the least. Only get worse. Off the streets. As far as bucahn s girlfriend, who again was also a person of interest in the murder of her father, she is still undergoing a mental evaluation but that goes. We still have more.
