the rain out of here? amy: it is going to take a little more time. we have a lot of clouds and a few sprinkles. the pavement' s stamp in a few spots because of the showers falling in the overnight hours. through the next few hours, we will keep drying out. as we continue through the day in the dry air comes in, we will end up with sunshine. through the day, a brighter story than the last two days. temperatures will slowly climb, but we will be in the mid to upper 60' the air is drying things out and going to call us down. we have dropped in ocala, 48. les cloud cover. a little more cloud looking good. jason: thank you. breaking news in volusia county, firefighters rush to the scene of a house fire in ormond beach and find a body down the street. s deputies tell us fire crews responded to a house fire on river drive around midnight. that' s off ocean shore boulevard. this is when firefighters found a body just down the street from the house. we have a crew on the way, and we' ll bring you a live report at 5:00. this morning, a disney-area hotel security guard is charged with grand theft accused of stealing from a hotel he was supposed to be guarding. orange county deputies took this 26-year-old man into custody in s chris hush discovered, this sting was prompted by a wave of thefts. >> you' re putting your trust in those people. you think they' re there to look after you. chris but the orange county : sheriff' s office says 26-year-old edward cespedes was doing everything but that. a security guard at the wyndham lake buena vista hotel in the disney springs area, investigators say he was caught stealing hundreds of dollars during an undercover operation. and in this report obtained by wesh 2 news, it says his manager suspects him being involved in a number of missing cash cases. since 2015, the report says there have been at least 20 complaints at this hotel, totaling more than $10,000 in missing cash. unsettling for some wyndham hotel guests, like karl and donna french. >> we' re always putting stuff in the safe. we use the safe. we don' t leave things laying chris in one incident, the : suspect' s manager told police, cespedes was given a wallet that had been found. when it was retuned to the guest, the cash inside was missing. in another incident, the suspect allegedly went against policy by going inside a room after to be open. several guests didn' their doors weren' t closing all the way. when this guests came back to the room, money was again, missing. >> unless you actually do shut it up, it doesn' t close fully. chris cespedes was arrested just : this week, after undercover authorities say they set up cameras inside a room and watched him steal $500 left by investigators on a night stand. we asked for this video but were told it is not yet being released. jason: that was chris hush reporting. the security guard has only been charged with grand theft in one case, where he was allegedly caught on camera stealing from investigators. he is out on bond. both disney or wydham hotels -- both disney and wyndham hotels refused to comment. an alabama family is suing disney after a snake bite at animal kingdom. the family says that snake fell from a tree and bit the eight-year-old in october 2014. the boy' s grandmother saw it, went into cardiac arrest then died. nonvenomous and not a part of the exhibit. the park says it also helped clean and bandage the bite, and offered more help, but the family declined. police have released new evidence in a murder at a lake mary dry cleaners. these are the zip ties police say the suspect used to tie up the victim back in september at lake mary dry cleaning. this is also a new look inside the building. police say andre luciano killed jenny dang after being told he could not use the bathroom. the suspect has pleaded not guilty. happening today, a man accused of slashing a 70-year-old woman' s throat will be sentenced. orange county deputies say douglas reed attacked a 70-year-old woman and stabbed her inside her orange county home back in july. reed is facing several charges, including attempted murder. he pled guilty to some charges in november. reed will be sentenced at nine 9:00 this morning. new on sunrise. a scam alert you need to be office says someone pretending to work for the department is calling residents. the scammer claims there is a warrant out for their arrest and they need to pay money to clear it up. an 81-year-old victim was scammed out of $5,500. if you receive a call like this call the sheriff' s office. this new video shows moments when a sunrail train crashed into a car earlier this week. you can see the headlights of the car on the tracks ahead of the train at monroe street in sanford wednesday night. the train appears
