Jim a bizarre Court Appearance for an Orange County mother who is accused of aggravated child neglect. While Susan Richardson faced a judge for the first time this morning, investigators across town renewed the search effort to find her infant child, who disappeared this week, moments after being born. Good evening, i m jim payne. Angela i m angela taylor. Richardson was arrested just 24 hours ago, and police say she hasn t been much help to their investigation. They think she gave birth somewhere near the willow bend apartment complex on silver star road and then got rid of the child. Wesh 2 s gail paschallbrown is live with the latest on the search and charges. Gail Orlando Police and city workers just removed a dumpster from the willow bay apartments. It was closest to the parking lot where the placenta was found. There was no more evidence, no baby willow. In the arrest report, we can tell you that Susan Richardson said she had a miscarriage, but at one point she had changed her story. Wednesday once again trying to find a newborn baby girl. Opd S Emergency Response Team were all over the area in the willow bend apartment complex to coastline drive a little futher west. This is the second search since monday after 30yearold Susan Richardson gave birth. No one can find her baby. Richardson faces charges of child neglect and child desertion. Wesh 2 news uncovered details of a sworn audiotaped interview that detectives did with richardson yesterday. They asked her, did she know anything about the placenta found in the parking lot at willow bend apartments . She claimed to know nothing about it. But when detectives pointed out they would be comparing her dna to the blood found at the scene police say, she quickly recanted and admitted the placenta was from her. The arrest report says richardson admitted to police that she had been pregnant since june of 2015, and she gave birth to a baby girl. She said the baby was alive and seemingly healthy post birth. Richardson said she did not want the baby and decided to leave it on the front door step of a random resident in willow bend
