Michelle Kimberly Reid is now in the Lake County Jail with no bond, charged with child abuse. According to police, reid was s palace daycare in clermont. The video was shot by a daycare employee with her cell phone. The employee told police the abuse had been going on for three weeks. This morning, we found the Daycare Center locked up, with a sign saying it was temporarily closed due to change in ownership, grand opening coming soon. Oh my god. Michelle tricha ramos told us about a month ago, she thought this very daycare. When she watched the video, her gut reaction was very strong. I d kill her. As a mom, i m, that s ridiculous. Sheriff s office says an investigation into an Excessive Force complaint is complete, and all of the deputies are in the clear. This stems from a july incident apartments in july involving Valencia College students. Deputies say deidra reid yelled at an offduty deputy s son, who refused to let her inside. When she did get inside, the deputy asked her to leave because she s not a resident. There was a confrontation that eventually spilled outside. Reid was arrested along with reginald lane. They filed the Excessive Force complaint a week later. Todd got into confrontation with a group riding horses at French Landing near orange city. They were upset with him for driving too close to the horses. Todd revved his engine and drove at the group, killing a tennessee walking horse and injuring her rider. Todd will be sentenced at a later date. Summer we ve now learned that a Good Samaritan, who was killed in a crash early yesterday morning near port orange, was a single mother of three young children. Meredith tina martin had stopped to help a motorcylist who had crashed on u. S. One and was laying in the road. Wesh 2 s claire metz reports now, two other vehicles slammed into the Good Samaritan and motorcyclist, killing both. Claire the motorcycle rider, a 23yearold from port orange, had crashed in the median here on u. S. 1 and harbor road, and was thrown into the southbound lanes. 33yearold tina martin, traveling north, stopped to help him and as she kneeled in the road, the driver of a caravan hit both of them, another vehicle hit the motorcylist again. Everybody is heart broken. Claire josh boyle says his younger sister, tina martin, was an inspiration in life, raising three children, the oldest only eightyearsold, alone. In death he says, martin is heroic she risked her own life to help a stranger who had crashed his motorcycle. That s one thing that gives but i still miss her and its too soon. Claire martin, who was a waitress at houligans in port doesn t have a vehicle a ride home and was heading home to New Smyrna Beach when she saw the motorcyclist down. Despite the hour, the middle of the night on her own, martin stopped and ran to help the her uncle isn t surprised.
