Cbs 58s Kyle Aevermann was there for the sentencing of sara domres. 3 domres appeared in court with her attorney and said she was sorry for what she did. The 29 year old was criminally charged in april for having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old student. Court documents say that during the 20152016 school year, domres and the students had sexual intercourse a number of times and had exchanged hundreds of text messages. Some of which were inappropriate former teacher at new berlin west, addressed the court before her sentence. She broke down and said she was sorry. Sorry. But couldnt find him. New today at four the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Office has a warning about a phone scam. Scam. A scammer has been calling homes. Saying hes a sheriffs deputy. Deputy. Then tells the residents they missed jury duty and if they dont pay a fine. They could be arrested. One person gave the scammer one thousand dollars on a prepaird credit card. Card. The Sheriffs Office does not call about jury duty and will not threaten arrest for failure to pay fines. If this has happened to you call 4142784788 to report it. Police are still trying to find one of the men who attacked a postal worker as he delievered mail on milwaukees east side. Thats what ive been told, yesmail carrier scott peller was trying to deliver two packages to 1634 north arlinton place. According to a report, two men knocked the boxes out of pellers hands as he walked down the steps and then took off. 23yearveteran of the postal service, chased after the two men. He screamed at them to stop, saying it was a federal crime to steal the mail. Eventually one of the suspects, Daryl Walters was arrested. He appeared in Court Last Week on this offense. Offense. Walters is being held until his next Court Appearance which happens next wednesday. Milwaukee police tell me they are looking for that second suspect and are investigating what police in west salem thought was a freak accident. Turned out to be a homicide. 46yearold Todd Kendhammer is now facing homicide charges after he allegedly lied about his wife died. Back in september police were called to an accident on a rural wisconsin road. They found a woman dead in the passenger seat. Her husband, Todd Kendhammer said a metal pipe had fallen off a passing truck, bounced off the road and came through their windshield killing his wife. Investigation. Police dont beleieve thats what really happened. The windshield appears to have been struck more than one time and the defendents statements about how it happend, the complaint talks about the autopsy and how injuries werent consistent with a single pipe coming thorugh the windshield. Windshield. Investigators say there were sevearl other red flags. They found that no one had actually been seated in the front passenger seat when the windshield was damaged. If children playing along a beach in door county discovered human bones in the sand. But experts believe theres nothing sinister about the find. Find. We examined the remains and one of the things we noted that there was a lack of any dental work on the teeth and the bones appeared to be very old and brittle, no clothing or artifacts accompanied them. The remains were found in the Baileys Harbor area. A similar discovery was me turned out to be 100yearold remains of a native american. The Sheriffs Office is almost certain these remains are also ancient native american. But it will be up to the dane county medical examiner to confirm. First Milwaukee County health and Human Services is asking for the state for money for the project. Hector colon director of the countys health and Human Services says . Yes . , the Governors Office in a discussion asked questions about costs. But colon feels future savings are real incentives and, as a result, . Real . The table. But even more persuasive in his mind is the effect the change would have on children currently sent to Lincoln Hills. We dont believe in facilities. We dont believe that that is the answer either. But from a practical perspective, kids are still going to Lincoln Hills. So if that secure facility is going to exist we ask that it be close to home and it address behavoral and prosocial skills to help these indu although there is no hard plan at this point.
