we are now taking a look at this fire from the back side of these houses.one of these houses, which i'm told was from the back as firefighters continue to fight hot spots inside. in the last few minutes i spoke with a man who says he is the owner of one of these houses and rents it to tenants.he told me a family lived upstairs and unrelated tenants lived on the bottom floor. take a look at this video from earlier.the fire call came in just after 5.smoke was visible firefighters fought the flames. the american red milwaukee fire crews have been busy.this is the third fire this week in or sherman park neighborhood. yesterday morning a fire broke out in a vacant duplex at 50th and clarke.it spread to the neighboring home where six people lived. a man passing by is credited with getting that family out without injuries. milwaukee fire officials called the source of the fire "curious" because the vacant house had no working electricity or gas. no word on the cause. 3 3 community members and police are coming together to find solutions to keep the peace in following a ?deadly? officer- involved shooting. shooting.community members met with police and sheriff's deputies last night... at the "boys and girls club" in sherman park.they talked about ideas... to stop the violence. the end goal--- help young people find a job... further their education... and give them ?hope?--- something to look forward to. 3 meanwhile--- the president of the sherman park ?neighborhood association? says... he's ?not? happy with the choice to close sherman park ?early.?the park is now closed from six at night.... until six in the morning.teenagers who use the for a lot of these kids sherman park is a safe haven for them.. they feel safer being in the park than they do at home. home. closing the park down aint' going to do anything but bring the kids back onto the streets, kids coming off the streets coming into the park to eat and play play 3 the sherman park neighborhood association... has meetings ?every wednesday.?
