roads are in great shape this morningno sign of any slick spotsdrivers take note that the water st. bridge leading into the historic third ward is now closed until december 16th 2016. the bridge will undergo some upgrades to its locking system. drivers should use alternates to get around this closure.another reminder that the i-41/894 sb exit ramp to greenfield ave. is now closed through the summer of 2018 for new this morning--- milwaukee police are on the scene of a ?double homicide? on milwaukee's far northwest side. cbs 58's kyle aevermann is there too... gathering details. what have you learned, kyle? we are here at appleton and florest, and you can see 1:30 this morning. milwaukee police say they received reports of multiple gunshots from inside a home. when police arrived, they found two victims, both a man and a woman in their 20s. police say both had been shot and were not breathing.police say two children were also inside at the time but were not injured and are now safe. police are still looking for suspects. if you have any information, call police. police are still looking for suspects. if you have any information, call police.live in milwaukee. kyle aevermann. cbs58 news. 3 and just in---the medical examiner has been called to another deadly shooting on the northwest side.this one happened just before four this morning... near 52-nd and greentree.it's the ?third? fatal shooting in the fourth district... in about six hours. we'll bring you more details as we get them. of the three men responsible for the murder of laylah petersen should learn his punishment today. arlis gordon will be sentenced in milwaukee county court this morning. cbs 58's julie parise has been following this case.she joins us live from the court house with the story. arlis gordon will be sentenced by a judge inside this court house later this morning. his charge -- second degree reckless homicide -- which he pled guilty to back in september. 5-year-old laylah petersen was killed on november 6, 2014, while sitting inside her home was sitting in the living room on her grandfather's lap when the bullets flew threw the window. gordon was arrested last october -- along with two other suspects -- paul farr and carl barrett.last week barrett was sentenced to to 65 years in prison for his role in the crime. it was an emotional day in court and today could surely be similar. that sentencing happens after 8:15 this morning gordon could face sixty years in prison family and friends come together to remember a little boy... killed after weeks of abuse7-year-old trevion winningham died last tuesday at the hospital. police say he had bruises and open sores all over his body. they say he was beaten, burned with cigarettes and starved. the criminal complaint says his 9-year-old brother also suffered "severe" abuse.. and is hospitalized.two women-- etter martinez-- are charged in his death.at a vigil last night... people pledged to remember the boy they never got to meet. lj, public relations director, guardians of the children 07;53;49 we're gonna just stand here and be his family for him tonight tonight cbs 58 also spoke with kat carter-- trevion's aunt. carter and her brother-- trevion's father-- live out of state.carter says the family is devastated about what happened. 00;01;28 i remmeber he loved little toy cars. i remember when you see him he either got one in his hand or tucked in love them and as much as they loved as were...they loved ever. everybody. the women accused of abusing trevion will be back icourt december 12th. 3 now to a developing story--- wauwatosa police arrest a milwaukee man for "threats og violence" against the police de. department. wauwatosa police have been getting threats since the decision was announced monday ...that charges would ?not? be filed against the officer who shot and killed jay anderson in madison park last june. p case to the d-a for charges.
