Kyle . 10 people were arrested at the makeshift memorial and are waking up heres according to Milwaukee Police, large gatherings have been taking place near 44th and auer. And local residents have asked police and local elected officials to help continue restoring order. Last night, Milwaukee Police arrived around 8 oclock and say between 30 and 40 people were gathered. Police say they saw some of those people were breaking the law, so they asked the crowd to peacefully disperse. 20 minutes passed before they asked again. Some arrsets were made. Community actvists say they believe police could have handled the situation better. I talked to the sergeant and he said we agree to disagree. 41 there is way to Many Police Officers here. Though no charges have been filed yet. Five men are released from custody. After Milwaukee Police say a girl admitted to making up a story about being attacked near a park. 3 the 12 year old took back her statement after reporting an assault near 23rd and national. Near Mitchell Park on monday. Police are now saying there was no group attack. But the clarification comes late for neighbors. The system is called the Electronic Registration Information Center or eric. Wisconsin plans to send more than a million Voter Registration cards next month through the program.
