night while celebrating halloween. several others were hurt some injuries. olessa: right now a new bedford police sergeant is suffering serious injuries after he was hit by a dirt bike. nine people were arrested after police say the group was riding dirt bikes through the city, posing a hazard to kids trick-or-treating. during the arrests sergeant candido trinidad was run over. he was taken to a now, a transit strike is underway that could impact next week's election day in a battleground state. nearly 5,000 transit workers in philadelphia, pennsylvania are on strike, unable to reach a contract agreement with the state's transportation system. the strike shuts down the services that provide roughly 900,000 rides daily. city leaders may have a hard time -- or they worry they could voting locations if an agreement is not reached by next tuesday. randy: about a dozen protesters will head to court after a demonstration outside a canton school. sky 5 over the judge rotenberg center as protesters blocked the entrance last night. the center is a special needs day and residential school the only one in the country that still uses controversial electro-shock therapy on students. protesters want that to stop. they were summonsed to court on trespassing charges. 5 investigates recently reported that a civil lawsuit that could end the shock treatment a judge. no comment from the onshore. another cooler than average day today. a lot of sunshine today. skies mainly clear into this evening and during the overnight hours, look what happens. we start to bring in some moisture in the form of clouds. we get some clouds, going to mostly be in the 40's as you're stepping out tomorrow morning. not as cold to want and tomorrow we are up in the mid 60's as showers holding off until scouting report. the 2012 report was recently released and appeared to be an annual tradition for the men's soccer team. players would rate new recruits of the women's team on a lewd scale. the six says the suv pulled into the path of engine 7 this is in boston. the impact set off a chain reaction 11 cars damaged. the fire department says the suv driver was hurt but is expected to survive. new details in an alleged emily: attempted kidnapping in londonderry, new hampshire, involving this man. court documents show family members say 22-year-old victor rosario is in an unhealthy mental state, and that they're concerned for the safety of his girlfriend. the pair had broken up the day rosario allegedly stormed into her work, and forcibly took her away. they were tracked to worcester. bail.
