Not really impacting our weather. The big story for us is the temperature warmup and more sunshine. Today, however, still on the cool side. Only in the mid 50s. By monday, 60. By tuesday back to seasonal average. And then by wednesday 70 degrees. So warmer conditions on the way. Not necessarily today though. A lot of clouds out there. Some breaks of blue over boston. 53 degrees. But those winds are pumping out of the north and east. Not as strong as yesterday so not really worried as much about the coast and the high tide coming at 5 06. But those winds going to keep temperatures cool. Notice the gusts are up to near 30 miles an hour in boston. Nantucket. So youll feel the wind out there. Today temperatures only climb into the mid to upper 50s. Maybe making it to 61 degrees on nantucket. It is a mostly cloudy day. There could even be some patchy drizzle as we go through the afternoon from that onshore wind. That stationary front though pulling farther to the south so High Pressure regaining control and eventually it will clear out the clouds. But it takes its time doing so. So as we go through the day today, notice mostly cloudy skies. The only exception may be southern New Hampshire and then north and west of that seeing more sunshine. But we keep a couple of patchy areas of drizzle out there especially for the cape as well go through the afternoon and even into this evening and through the overnight. And even some fog out there tonight. Temperatures will fall back into the 30s in spots. There actually is a frost advisory for tomorrow morning. Out in western mass. You can see why as temperatures are very chilly to start monday. But as we go through the afternoon and a northerly track to the wind, well see temperatures warm into the low 60s, maybe even a few mid 60s out there on the map. And there is still going to be a lot of clouds out there for your monday. Let me explain why. As we go through the day on monday heres what happens on our future cast. Theres the hurricane. Its well off shore, but we keep clouds around especially for the eastern half of the state. There could still be a couple of areas of patchy drizzle especially in southeastern mass. But notice by monday night, finally starting to clear things out. And once we do and once we see that sunshine, we dry things out on tuesday totally. 67 degrees. By wednesday were up to 70 if not above in a lot of spots. We turn cooler on thursday. And our next chance for real significant rain holding off until friday and saturday.
