He lives right here who police say tried to killed him. Lives right across the street. Now that the case is dismissed, mr. Philpot can come back here at anytime. 10 20 its just about as unfair as i think it can be. David amburgey says the Justice System has failed him. His alleged attacker now a free man. 10 22 you follow the guidelines of the law and you do what you are supposed to do and now i am going to be subjected to the man being able to come home after trying to really kill me. 30its been almost a year since police say this man Robert Philpot threatened amburgey with a hammer, got arrested and posted bond, went back to amburgeys house and stabbed him all in the same day. 15 19 he come at me and caught me in the side. And i had a faucet . On from my hernia and that knife went through the faucet and he rolled that knife and and gut me just like a deer. 31 amburgey defended himself and beat philpot up a year later a judge has dismissed the case and all charges are dropped. Philpots Attorney Says his client was found incompetent to stand trial. 06 20 based upon all of the evidence, judge guswaler . Found that he was not restorable that it wasnt a result of a Mental Illness or mental disease and so by statute, he dismissed the charges. 32philpots Attorney Says his client cant remember anything about the incident. He hasnt walked since then. 07 38 mr. Philpot has no mental ability to admit, deny, feel remorse, not feel remorse, he doesnt know. He doesnt know why he is in know what happened. 49but that fact doesnt give amburgey any sense of comfort fears for his safety now that philpot is free. 07 06 if mr.
