The woman who lives in the Home Department want to show her face but says her husband woke up as it was happening. Yeah. My husband. Reporter and then what happened . He left. Heres what your thanksgiving might look like foodwise, breakfast and bagel and cream calories. Lunch, ham and cheese sandwich, soda and chips, 800 calories and thats not even the grazing you might do while watching football. And we get together in the afternoon and we have a lot of food. Theres potato skins and dip and chips and all sorts of delicious foods out for us to enjoy. Fill up the plate, mostly with vegetables so that takes up a large portion of the meal. Filling up on some protein from lean turkey and having a little bit of the side dish of some sweet potatoes, stuffing or other carbs and try to have the protein first, vegetables second and say the starch for desert. Now to forest hill queens, where firefighters battled flames overnight. The latest incident took place at a home under construction on 67 drive. Half a dozen fires have been reported in forest hills since last month. And most have been at homes under construction. Fire marshalls have said that the fires were likely intentionally set. They are now investigating. A group of protesters made their way through macys in Herald Square last night. The demonstrators say theyre showing solidarity with black lives matter protesting Police Involved deaths here in our area and in other communities across the country. Several people were charged with disorderly conduct. At one point, a group tried to block the lincoln tunnel but was unsuccessful. The mother who left her baby boy in a nativity scene at a Queens Church will not face criminal charges. Police found the mother seen here buying towels that she used to wrap the newborn in. The baby was spotted monday at Holy Child Jesus Church in richmond hill. Leaving a newborn without alerting anyone is a crime under new yorks safe haven law but the District Attorney says the mother followed the spirit of the law and even returned to the church to make sure the baby had been found. New video this morning of the man Police Believe used a laser pointer and temporarily blinded a bus driver in the bronx. Cameras allegedly captured him holding the pointer late wednesday. Investigators say he aimed it at the rearview mirror. The driver says when he looked into the mirror, he was blinded by the red light. The man escaped on east 181st street and 3rd avenue. Video this morning of a police chase. Suspect on the parkway and the man started driving in the wrong direction trying to get away. Those moments were part of a pursuit that started upstate. This year, not case. Calm southeasterlies, topping out in the upper 50s to low 60s. A mild really nice thanksgiving day. So weather headlines include thanksgiving looking good for most of us. Some clouds are expected to begin to start moving in. Again, increasing cloud coverage. We may see some drizzle later on today, especially for shoreline towns and vortex radar picking up on those clouds already moving in ahead of that cold front. So you can see right over the great lakes, some associated showers, this just cold front is picking up the hours and bring it our way.
