Three women in just over three hours. The last known victims investigators say he sexually assaulted. When i came yesterday, there was a guy standing in there looking through the door inside the staircase looking out. And it was weird. And i looked at him and he got a black jacket. Reporter video shows the man who police say is in his mid20s to mid30s lurking in the hallway of this building where he made his move in the third incident, entering through a front door where the lock was broken and following a 40yearold woman into an elevator and forced himself into her apartment where police say he raped her and stole her cellphone before running away. Shouldnt happen. The door should be fixed for nobody to come in. Reporter just after 6 30 a. M. , police say he followed a 33yearold woman into her building in Lower Manhattan and tried to the rape and rob her. She managed to fight him off. And then about an hour later, he did the same to a 24year old woman in the same neighborhood, grabbed her by the shoulders and stole her id card. She screamed and the suspect got away. Youre not safe no more. Families. Reporter now residentses here say that the third victim is hearing impaired so she likely never heard her attacker coming up behind her. The broken lock here on the door at the houses has since been fixed. And police asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to give them a call. The driver of a truck was arrested for dwi. The accident happened around 12 15 this morning. This morning, police are searching for a person of interest after a 16yearold girl was found shot dead in an apartment in the bronx. Investigators say the 42year old dale weston was arrested. Reporter the teenagers body loaded into the medical examiners van as this man was taken by police in handcuffs and these three were led away by detective, questioned in the of the 16yearold girl. Police say there were several people in the apartment but many of them have different stories as to what happened. Police say the victim was visiting the apartment at the time. Investigators spent most of the night combing the apartment for evidence because its unclear if the gunshot wound to the head was selfinflicted. Everything horrible happens Reporter Police spent several hours searching for the gun and residents were kept from coming and going as the officers worked.
