Security video shows magdalene bengochea pushing a woman along the road at the allerton section. As she crossed in the middle of the block a white late model scan clipped her and kept going. Witnesses helped bengochea left injured in the street. Of the people to get her family. Something needs to be done in the area. Too many people been getting hit by cars. Bengochea is in Critical Condition at jacobi medical center. New information in the case of an unarmed black teen killed in his bronx home by a white nypd officer. The decision infuriated al she is heartbroken but also very determined to continue to fight. She wants to see the officers fired. Reporter haste is part of an nypd street narcotics Enforcement Unit on the night in 2012 that graham was killed. Cops conducting surveillance told members of the unit by radio that graham possibly had a firearm. Haste said that when he went to confront graham in the bathroom of his apartment, he fired because he thought graham was going to fire at him. But no weapons were ever found. Patrolmans Benevolent Association Patrick Lynch said he was gratified no charges were filed adding there is no winner here. Cbs 2s emily smith shows us how firefighters and Police Officers jumped into action when a car plunged down an embankment and landed upside down in the norwalk river. Reporter this Police Officer body cam video shows two firefighters and a Police Officer physically ripping off the door of a car just about to realize someones in the vehicle. [ yelling ] reporter crews used a long safety rope to help guide First Responders in the pitch dark. Norwalk Police Lieutenant terry blake says the victim, a 35yearold man, was breathing and alert when hoisted from the drivers seat of the car. He was verbally responsive to the firefighters and others at the scene. Reporter police say the driver lost control near the intersection of main and wall streets in norwalk early sunday morning. Then police say his car smashed through the fence fell down 30 feet landing upside once First Responders received a 911 call from someone passing by, they got into the freezing fastmoving water without hesitation. Im surprised they took him out that quickly because i saw how he went down pretty far in and they hoisted him up and i saw that happen and i saw them take hip out on the stretcher and everything i think in less than to minutes. The car was totaled. I would say he had its amazing. Its an accident that could have been a fatality. He is lucky to be alive. Reporter the victim hasnt been charged. Police say they are looking into whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash that resulted in a dangerous and brave rescue. In norwalk, connecticut, emily smith cbs 2 news.
