Reporter Allison Santos is a physicians assistant at a Dermatology Center who agrees that in some cases, excess hormones can stimulate and change the appearance of moles. We already know that the more moles somebody has, the higher risk they are of developing a melanoma in the future. So young women who have a history of acne may already in increased number of moles. And that is most likely the link. Reporter she says its imperative to be vigilant about watching for changes on your skin.
