And hes charged with sending classified information to a news organization. The document contains new details about russian government efforts to hack into the u. S. System. Reality leigh winner is arrested for sending a classified report to an online media outlet. The young woman worked for a private contractor located on this military base that did work for the National Security agency. Winner now admits she was the leaker. The online website, the intercep intercept, quoted from the document. It told the government it had the document and tha tnsa asked that certain things be blo blacked out. But the discovery of the leak set o bells, which set off an effort to discover who gave it to the intercept. The intercepts copy had been printed and folded. Had printed it out. Winners arrest is the first criminal leak case in the trump administration. The president has vowed to crack down on leaks that he says undermine his administration. I called the Justice Department to look into the leaks. Osrimil leaks. During the campaign, he used social media to his advantage. But the latest round of tweets could complicate his administrations effort to defend that travel ban in court. His late effort barrage, igniting new backlash for taking a swipe at his own Justice Department for its strategy to defend the travel ban, now in the hands of the supreme court. His aide s forced to clarify as he said the latest version is watereddown and politically incorrect. I dont think the president cares what you call it. And this morning there are new developments in the investigation. All three alleged attackers have now been named by police. Including barriers to prevent cars from climbing on to the sidewalk. And theres growing questions today. Angry ones, about why police didnt arrest the attackers before they murdered seven people in london, including a canadian woman who died in her fiances arms. One of the attackers, karam butt, a british citizen born in pakistan, was wellknown to police. Featured in a documentary about isis supporters, attended protests, but kept a job for the subway system. Neighbor say they reported him to police. They dont look right to me. They look like theyre radicalizing the kids. This guy practically had a sign on his chest. He wasnt hiding at all. He just wasnt hiding. Hes not the only one. Theres been several of that group who have been very vocal about their opposition to British Society and the support for jihad thats on the radar for a long time. In addition to identifying the attackers, British Police released the name of an australian woman killed in the attack. Her family said she died trying to help others. He would not tell me what it was, she told the jury. After taking it, i sat on the couch and i felt like i was under water. Drugged, she says cosby molested her. To relive what she alleges what mr. The defense will go after Andrea Constands credibility when she takes the stand. During opening arguments the lead attorney pointed out inconsistencies in her testimony to law enforcement. Including initially tell police, she didnt contact cosby after that night. But phone records show otherwise. She called him 53 times, the defense shouted in court. Sometimes 30 to 40 minutes a pop. At the end of the day, cosby left the courthouse leaning on his cane and the cheers of his supporters. The trial has really only just begun. Its expected to last roughly two weeks. The critical moment will be when Andrea Constand takes the stand. If what we saw from the defense team is any indication, the crossexamination of her is going to be tough.
