So hes going to perform it for our awesome couple coming up in just a little bit. But its so cool you know whats funny about this couple . We met them face to face a little bit ago. I remember i was working on sirius radio. The phone rings, and we take calls and the girl calls, and it was jan. I was like, i wonder who this is. Do we have the audio . Can we play what she said when she called in. Right off the bat, if it werent for you and kathie lee, i would not have met my fiance. What . Would you please tell me that story . Five and a half years ago my daughter who is also a big kathie lee fan and hoda fan especially, and i were in new york and she says, lets go to the plaza and watch kathie lee and hoda. And i said okay, lets go. While we were standing on the plaza, my fiance was there with a friend. He started talking, and five and a half years later we are still talking and were engaged and what . The daily mail reported story about a bride who got wedding presents from some guests, she was not happy with the gift. The gift was cash. They gave, the couple gave her and her husband, 100 pounds, which seems like a lot of, a pretty good gift. Right . Its like 150, 175. It depends on what their situation was. Youre supposed to say thank you. The bride was not too keen on that gift. She was not impressed. What did she write . Right around 10 00 we decided to go back by 30 rock. They were doing a live taping of the today show. I happened to be there at the same time. Because i had been in the city with my mom and daughter for spring break for the week and we decided we wanted to go over and see kathie lee and hoda. And they were interviewing Kelsey Grammer live on the air. Very sarcastically i said to my friend, oh yeah, my loiflong dream to see kathie lee gifford. I couldnt resist the opportunity to say im so glad i was there while he realizationed his lifelong dream. We started talking. We realized how much we had in kbhon. We exchanged phone numbers. I think the first night we talked three and a half hours. He was living in pennsylvania at the time and i was living in virginia. We started meeting in baltimore at the inner harbor and thats where we started dating. It was a good halfway spot. And here we are six years later getting married. We had the opportunity to be on with kathie lee and hoda in december. We would like to offer that we host your wedding right here. Which caught us offguard. Totally caught us offguard. Here we are.
